Does Ath require an invoice?? If, so, how does that work ?

After many years of not doing any Ath Power shops I have just done 4 of them. Today, up popped a screen asking if I wanted an invoice. So, I said "yes," and it offered to print one....but not to submit it for me.

I am genuinely confused.

I am always told that as an "IC Pro" (I think that is the terminology), an invoice has been submitted on my behalf.

Last one I completed was approximately 3 months ago. No invoice required then or ever before.
Interesting. I've never been asked about an invoice (oh, maybe I DID see the screen that said one was automatically submitted for me), but about 45 days after completing the job, I got the e-mail from Bill.com (or is it Bills.com?). I ignored it, and my check arrived in the mail shortly thereafter.

Do I have to sign up with bill.com ?

I had signed up with Bill.con ages ago, but never worked for them, so I guess I'm o.k.

Bill.com is the company that Ath Power uses to pay shoppers. Bill.com is a large company and is licensed in every state. If I remember correctly, the first time you will be paid by check. Then you will be offered the option of direct deposit. I have been paid by direct deposit for probably the last decade. Easy, convenient, safe.

I've done a number of shops for them and never submitted an invoice. They have always sent me a check 6-8 weeks after the shop.
I have never invoiced. Maybe the prompt to invoice was for your records. Just a guess.

Although. Ath, still issues checks, you do not have to sign up for bill.com. Bill dot com issues the check with no further information needed from You, the Shopper.

Ahhhh. Many thanks. I get it now. That pop-up about submitting an invoice may have come from ShopperPro. I may have inadvertently hit some link that brought that up. Having never seen that before, I wrongly assumed that it was because of some Ath requirement.

In this business, we never stop learning, lol.

I have worked for ATH for many years. I have never been provided with an invoice. In the past week they have changed their pay type, no more Bill.com. Now they are sending a check through email. You have to copy the check for deposit or get the App to deposit a check in your bank.
