Would You....

Doing a job for a $50.00 kiosk at the airport a few months ago, would you do job again for 30.00, seems price went down...is this fair to the shopper, or should the shopper rebel?

It depends. I certainly would not do it if I had to make a special trip to the airport. However, if I were already in the airport for other reasons and the shop fit my standard for pay, I would do it. I might, however, see of the scheduler would pay me a bit more....

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
Maybe if I was right there. I have quit doing a couple jobs that I used to do because payment went down. I may or may not do them again.
I felt that way, and asked, but got a firm no......it is a disappointment, still money in my pocket...but that is why they get away with it, because they can.

I have never, nor intend to ever accept a shop I completed in the past, where the regular fee was lowered. If, though, the prior visit(s) had been under any inordinate circumstances, it would depend upon the situation. The most urgent job I recall, involved lunch that needed to be shopped in the next hour. I requested and received an additional $8, for a total of $15 and $13 for food; all later work reverted to the normal $7 fee.
Why wouldn't they consider giving the 50.00 to me a good shopper having worked for the company, and do the 30.00 for a newcomer, to test the water, that makes sense to me. I really need to run these companies and determine pay, and I promise not to cut pay for my good shoppers. The job has been sitting on the board, so far, I'm not taking it.

I don't know if these are quarterly or semi-annual, but hopefully the pay goes back up towards the end of the period. Especially with the parking prices.
These are monthly and it doesn't matter if it's the end of month, they will continue next month at the same prices.
I'll be parking at the airport regardless, so that's not an issue...you have to be flying out or into a certain airport.

I can tell you to hold your ground. I have two companies that are always trying to get me to back down on the price. I tell them no tell them a price higher than last time then they come back and tell you what you did it for the last time. Then they say they are going to go to the supervisor and then 90 percent of the time I get the job. If everyone would take the time to figure out what the job is costing them to perform (gas, phone, insurance on the car, upkeep on the auto, and what your time is worth per hour) , they might starting to asking and receive the higher amount.
