SQM- shop in DC

Hello- I just signed up with SQM and am looking for assignments. How can I find out what restaurants they are with? The instructions state I need to have 4 people total and DC is so diverse, I'd like to know what kinda food we are dealing with. I would hate to cancel after being accepted. Thanks!

Not knowing which restaurant, how would we know what kind of food...best to look at instructions or email scheduler.

When I select a job I see the name of the restaurant first.

These are integrity shops that deal with cash handling, so the location will not be revealed online. You will have to contact the scheduler who may share that information with you. The scheduler who is handling the special assignments (which this one is) is very particular and may not even tell you if you are a new shopper with them.

These tend to be very high end establishments and be mainly cash integrity shops. This is a special project and newer shoppers might not be considered. I got lucky and got 2 that could be done solo, because someone at another MSC, who knows me from shopper conferences, appears to have recommended me. I had not done any SQM shops before since the more routine shops that they have locally are not really on my wish list. And, yes, the scheduler is VERY particular, because she has very particular clients and needs everything on schedule and correct, to the nth degree.. But once you have done a good shop for her, she will look for ways to use you again.

I'm guessing that this is the same new client that they have in CA? I am not new, but I was new to SQM. They assigned me a pair of shops and basically now reassign them to me as often as I cave and say yes.
They are pretty basic integrity shops. So, if you have done high-end stuff for others, that aren't hard at all.

Funny side note - there was a group at the hotel for a meeting. They bought out all of the cans of Bud Light. The busser had to go to the grocery store and buy it retail for the bartender. They had great beers, but these people wanted their cheap American beers. I think that they were paying at least $6 a can for it at the bar. It could have been more.

I do not know if the client is new. But I am doing restaurant meals, and the reports are very simple. They are less interested in the food and service than most high end restaurant clients. I love that I have the choice of so many valet parking shops in the city that I can park within 2 blocks of their assignment, complete their shop, and walk back to my car. So, I am earning a parking fee nearby (yesterday it was literally next door) while consuming a first class meal with an easy report. SQM would have reimbursed for parking at their venue, but, alas, no fee for leaving my car there. So, why not get a two-fer ??

Now that I have done just these two for SQM, I have been asked to do what looks like the easiest overnight hotel stay ever, at a very high end hotel.
