Advice Android Phone Not Compatible A Closer Look System.

I could not find a string in relation to this so, if it is one apologies.

Some advice please if this technical issue has happened to your phone

Oddly, A Closer Look recording button feature will not work on my Android phone

It will say "calling" however, my phone never rings or acknowledges a call coming in.

Once it hangs up, in my voicemail I will have a message left with transcript and I can see and hear person on other line was saying hello so it must have rang on their end.

A closer look IT department has been amazing as has the schedulers . We have tried everything to fix this as they have never seen this issue before. I've had issue for 2 years with 3 different Androids. My provider is Verizon for past 22 years.

I resolved issue to complete shop by using my landline.

So I have a bandaid however, would like to use my Android.

This happens with none of my other company phone systems.

Anyone have this happen and identified a work around I can try?

Thank you!

No, that's really strange. I have an Android and I use it all the time with ACL for the recorded portion of my shops. AT&T is my provider. I have used my past 3 Android phones to record my ACL calls. I would think that it must be something in your settings, but if ACL IT couldn't figure it out, who could? Did they say that anyone else has had this issue?
I have Verizon Wireless. I did a recorded call last week with no problem. I initiated the call from my computer and completed the call from my Samsung.

Thank you.!!
Yes they made me aware this is option. However, I rarely use my computer as I'm in field pretty much all day every day with inspections and shops full time.

Would love to use my phone only as quicker on road Thanks for your advice. Much appreciated!
There are sometimes takeout shops that are about 25 minutes away and the food might be ready in 15, so for those shops I have to drive halfway there and sit in a parking lot to make the call. I log into the ACL website on my Android and initiate the call with no issues. My phone rings and I follow the prompts to record the call. Like I said, I have been doing that on the last 3 Android phones I have had and I use AT&T. I personally have had no issues. But it's weird that you can't do the same. I still think it has to be something in your settings, but like I said, if ACL's IT can't figure it out, who can?
Unrelated but I have an Android phone that was on Freedom Pop for a carrier that uses AT&T's network to make VOIP calls. A lot of calls that had to be recorded did not go through. So I had to use the spouse's phone to call in. And I'm pretty sure that it would mess this one up also. But since I went to a government subsided phone I have had no trouble with it. Oh, and it is using the t-mobile network.
