Yeah, and I think one of the biggest reasons for this is that MF has NOT been open with us shoppers about what has been going on the past several months. If they would only let us know something...if it's an internal personnel problem, a software problem, or whatever. They don't have to give us specifics, but just something like what I just mentioned here. Then we wouldn't all be wondering what in the heck has happened over in their accounting dept the past few months!@Jenny Cassada wrote:
For now, though, it's just speculation after speculation in this thread as well as the others.

I just received a call from one of my favorite schedulers. "Could I please go to a location 175 miles R/T for $50?" Umm, no...that distance requires 3 times that amount. I then said if the shoppers knew what the issue is all about, maybe we'd be more comfortable accepting shops today. Her answer did not comfort me. "A new payroll person" was her comment.

Late fees vary from state to state. For instance, in California "a late fee will be enforced only if the fee is a reasonable estimate of the amount that the lateness of the payment will cost the landlord." Unless you're renting a palatial estate they would not lose out on $50 a day in interest. Definitely check the laws in your state.

No pay here, but there is a change on my account. Some -- not all -- of my May shops have been "swept", which normally means they are processing payment.
