I am in central Georgia USA. No word/post/deposit yet. Only the 2nd half of June is showing on the "view completed shops" page. June 5th and the 11th shops not showing but all the shops from the 19th to the 30th are still sitting there. Funny you can take the time to post about Tropical Storm Barry, which wasn't even that bad of a storm, but you can't take 2 minutes to make a post about our payroll!!
I got paid but oddly haven't done ANY shops for them since the last time lol MF should sound like MAJOR FAIL...thanks for the 40 bucks but where did this cash come from. They need to fire the financial and accounting team. 40 dd and nothing showing what I did. This is a head scratcher. Happy I stuck with my guns and passing on them I do miss one fast food place with no fee damnit lol

Could it have been a shop you forgot about?

There's nothing about June payments on their website. Hopefully, no news is good news and we'll get paid this week.

15th and 16th have passed with no payment for June shops or message concerning June payments on website. Yes, they still have to the 20th, (actually 19th since 20th falls on Saturday), to make payments within their published guidelines. Will be interesting to see the outcome at the end of the week.
Nope, i have no outstanding shops. My last shop was in the first week of last month and it was actually invalid. I havent done a shop with them in over a month even says that on my history page. I am not complaining or giving it back. Nothing is showing up my payment history. I havent even emailed them or nothing simcr the last payment was resolved. Anyone have experience with this? bless their hearts!!! This time i got paid early for something i didn't do unless i some how got a random extra bonus. I love MF shops but phew this is just messy! Delayed payment and then early overpay WTF.

Mysterious, if you click on the payment itself, it will give the details. If the payment is not showing up on your payment history page yet, it probably will show up in the next few days.
Website says
Canadian payments made and US payments are being worked on. They will update the post as soon as they have a date.

Hmmmm, 'they will update the post as soon as they have a date,' heard that before, lol. Seems to be a trend going on: Canadian shoppers get paid first one month and US shoppers have delayed payments, then next time US shoppers get paid first and Canadian shoppers have delayed payments. Just my observation!

This is sad. A multi-million dollar company and now I have to keep track of each shop individually and waste paper and ink printing every CPI out. I don't have an accounting program so I have to open a word processing page make a table for certain MSP's. It's just sad.
F and L, you physically print the CPI? Why?

I have done that since I saw discrepancy lol I take money very seriously and document everything digitally and offline, they are in the wrong. There is nothing there sad smiley
I print a hard copy of my CPI to keep with my receipts. I take the CPI and guidelines with me to the shop, because many areas in which I shop have internet/cell phone service that is sometimes sketchy at best, so I can't always depend on being able to access that information on the website or app. Once I have been paid for the shop, they go into the shredder. A digital copy of the receipt is kept in a folder on my computer until my taxes have been filed for that year.
Wouldn’t a simple excel do???

I print the CPI off and keep it till shop is paid. File them away for three years in case IRS wants to audit tax year, that way I have hardcopies to support tax deductions, losses, etc.

It works fine for my own records, but that doesn't help me any with proof of the fee and reimbursement that MF agreed to. I keep it until I am paid, then it is shredded. It seem old school, but it works for me.
I absolutely print out every single CPI, and for MSCs that don't offer that, I print the first page of the shop survey. After I'm done reporting, I note the confirmation copy, staple the receipt/POV to it, and put in the box for this year's taxes. I keep them 7 years, in case of audit. Generally my notes (cashier's name, description, time entered/exited, etc.) are on the back of the CPI, so if I get a call 6 weeks later, I can answer the questions.

Like an above poster, many of the rural places I shop have no cell coverage. Not just spotty, none whatsoever. All the time I get "no cellular data network available".

Plus, I freely admit, I'm a tech dinosaur.

Well the 18th has come and no June shopper payment. Nothing in bank account and nothing showing on MF website. Yes, they have till the 20th, but actually the 19th since the 20th falls on the weekend. One more day and we will see if the problem is fixed or if management is aware of the problem and will post a date when payments will be made.

I don't think I'm "overreacting'. First of all, I don't have Excell on my computer. I can't afford to pay for software, at least right now. I use free software, Open Office. It has a spreadsheet program which I don't know how to program the formulas. When I took my classes back in the day we had Word Perfect and Lotus 1-2-3. Some of you young folks won't even know what I'm talking about. But I took my classes back in the '90s, back when refrigerator was still spelled with a D.I still spell it with a d and then correct it with spell check.
I've worked for MarketForce for over two years. In that time, I've considered them one of the most reliable MSP, payers. Until the June incident. I did not print my CPI's. I printed a few "random" CPI's, and I keep a calendar, a calendar that I make a simple 7 column table like we used to make in school only mine is on my computer. It's easier to modify than a calendar app. I've kept track of Maritz's shops for a long time since we have to do our own invoices and I make the most money from them. The completed lists for Maritz only go back for two weeks. So this is how I know if I'm missing any invoices or forgot to invoice any and have to call Payroll, Team 9 Admin, as they call them.
When the June incident happened I realized that I had no way to prove they owed me money because I didn't even have a copy of the CPI. I didn't even know how much they owed me because the shop fees vary so much during the periods. I might take a shop when it first comes out or I might take it when someone else gets invalidated and it comes back on the board for a higher fee, or even a make an offer will vary depending on how close to the deadline it is. What happens if they fold and we have to submit how much money they owe us to the bankruptcy court in order to get our money? Without the CPI, it's our word against theirs. Most likely only the people who can "prove" they are owed money will get paid. Not that I think MarketForce will fold, I don't. If I did I would stop doing shops for them. I haven't given up on them yet. I'm still working for them. But I am being a "little" more cautious and organized so that I have some semblance of security. When I worked in retail and for the pizza places I kept track of my hours, the same principle applies here. Errors can occur even in the best of systems, numbers can be transposed, etc. In today's day and age with everything automated, they occur less often but they still can.
Let me tell you this as well. I know of an incident with Maritz, where I was assigned a shop down in Florida. I was coming off of a two-day route coming from Alabama. When I left the hotel that morning the shop was still on my board. When I got to the location it was closed. I went in my phone to make sure I took the right closed location pictures. It was gone! If it had been canceled that morning when I left for my route I could have saved a couple of hours and rerouted my route back into Georgia sooner. But it was not canceled until 2:30 in the afternoon. No one had called me, either. It was impossible for me or the supervisor to invoice a shop that didn't exist anymore. But I still got paid. The supervisor had to hand-cut me a separate physical check. (It could not be direct deposited because it could not be invoiced). This is an example of how the "automated" system can not handle miscellaneous situations.
Posted on their website this morning:

"US Direct Deposit payments were sent to our bank today (7/18) for payment tomorrow (7/19). If you don't see the payment in your account over the weekend, it should be there Monday."

The sky is not falling.
YAY!!!

*Except all my June shops are still on my receipt page, and there's no DD notice on my payment history.

Or pay for Office by the month at $9.99 a month.

Or just do what works best for each individual. Everyone has their own system that works for them. It shouldn't matter to anyone else how I keep track of my work contracts or anything else, for that matter.

I think posters are just trying to be helpful in suggesting what might be a better way. It’s not an issue of what matters. I know I have learned a lot from reading this forum over the years. I always try to keep an open mind and welcome suggestions and tips posted here.
Payment should be tomorrow...YAY!!!!

I use a budget app, I put each shop under Expenses with a status of expense. When I get paid I put the amount of the entire payment under Incomes. I then find each individual assignment under Expenses and update them as being paid. I can run a report of expenses and list them as expense (not paid) and paid to find unpaid shops.

I used to save a digital copy of the shop documents but stopped. Instead I save my emails in a subfolder for every assignment. I put all my pics in a folder on my free Google cloud account, including all receipts and if needed screen shots.
