When in doubt:..here are some things I have done:
1. Look up the shop company that the email is claiming to be on the legitimate MSPA site. [
mspa-americas.org] (this is REAL site address, because there is ALSO a scam website impersonating the REAL MSPA.
2. From the MSPA site Click on the link for the company.
3. Look at the shop postings on their site to see if the shop the email is advertising is listed.
4. Contact the company from “their site” and send them the email you received to confirm if the opportunity is real or a scam?
****5. If you've never shopped for a specific company before then its ALWAYS a good habit to get into lookup & research MS companies on the MSPA site, whether you are an experienced or inexperienced Shopper! The truly legitimate co’s will be members. Also, utilizing this forum for vetting shop companies is a great resource too!
