Does Ipsos offer self-assign rights?

I had previously worked for Maritz with full self-assign rights. This means that I would commonly build day routes of 15 to 25 location visits on a single day route lasting maybe 10 hours.

I recently started working for Ipsos, but I can scarcely get even one shop at a time, with only a 25% probability when requesting it a day beforehand.

Not that I'm aware of. It puts a kink in my routing too. I gave up on IPSOS gas stations. I will just work for Maritz because that system works so much better for me. I can self assign and walk out the door, or call if I think I can get a bonus and get a yes or no much faster. You offer them a different price at IPSOS and you will just get ignored.
No, they don't. Someone on this site says they have a working relationship with a scheduler and gets jobs before they go on the board but that's the only person I've heard have that luck with them. They used to schedule quickly and I was able to do routes. It's gotten much worse in the past year from my experience with job requests now sitting in limbo for over a week and schedulers not responding to emails. Honestly, I would have preferred they invest in more schedulers and continued to be paid biweekly than the upgraded weekly pay. In my area, I often will apply for 20+ jobs trying to do routes and only get two or three too far apart to make money on.

I have a good working relationship with two of the schedulers for certain shops, and I am able to email and request bundles of shops for specific dates and times (though not before they hit the job board). I usually am granted the locations I request. But no, no self-assign privileges. I wish.

Same here. I am able to get routes from the scheduler and she will even reach out to do other locations as well. But, I helped me more than once get some locations completed that other shoppers dropped last minute or were in hard to fill locations. I noticed after a few favors I pretty much get all the shops I applied for. I do wish they had self assign it would be nice!!
The only self assign I have had with them are quarterly phone shops. And those go fast.
Someone from Ipsos previously posted or emailed that they were working on getting some projects to be self-assign but it was so long ago and nothing ever came of it. Most frustrating is when there are a bunch of different projects in an area and all have different schedulers. Some projects are even for the same client but there is a different scheduler for each scenario and they do not communicate with each other much. Absolutely impossible to work up a good bundle this way so I usually don't bother to try anymore.
I will sometimes make a note about a shop that I'm applying for saying, "Please only assign if I can also get xxx shop." or "Please only assign if I can get at least 4-5 shops in area I've applied for due to distance. Please do not assign one or two." They can then check to see if it was assigned or co-ordinate with the other scheduler. It has always worked well when I'm going a distance.

I just did this with the last set I applied for. Then when assigned only one of the set I sent a polite email asking about the others since they were still in "My Applications". Over a week later, the last day of the shopping window the applications were all removed but the one job assigned remained. I wrote the scheduler again reminding her of the situation and her response was that she didn't see I had an assigned job in my inbox. I assume she finally found it (I only had 2 assigned jobs in my inbox) since it was removed later that day.
