BVA? Does anyone currently work for them?

I am just getting started and I have a lot of questions so I was wondering if anyone is currently working with them? Thank you in advance for any help.

BVA is this the cosmetics and food shop MSC if so they are definitely one of my favs but they rarely have shops in my area.

Clarify because if it is the one highly recommended IF they have shops in your area (:

If it is the same one, the report is very hard and detailed at first but it gets better. I suggest 100% to record the entire interaction as they are VERY specific! This is most likely for advanced shoppers as it would be difficult to a newbie however if you are really good with reports, memorization and don't have problem with writing paragraphs then this is the shop for you!

Bewareeeeeeeeeeeeeee they still, owe me for probably 100 shops... no reimbursement for supplies like mandatory printing tape etc.
Hi, JBond - I may have answers, based on personal experience - whatever that is worth, lol.... What's up?
They have been slow to respond and i wanted to make sure the company is legitimate. Also the language barrier seems to be an issue and again I wanted to make sure it was legitimate. I was hoping to find others that work for BVA so I could ask questions as I get started since they are so slow to respond.
They are legitimate. Email seems to be easier than FB contacts. My lead responds the same day or by the next morning.....time diff and all. She is in France.
CanadaMom - I know- right?! You could drop out, but it's been a good gig for me. There is still more profit than expenses. I save by only going to the shippers 3 times week, reusing the shipping bags/boxes, and printing my own labels out from my Paypal acct. And, when selecting items for purchase, I try to pick items that are small, lightweight, and not easily breakable. And as far as the shops that have yet to be paid....I am certain, that unless the merchant has issued the refund and it has posted, the task will not close out & be approved for payment on the back end. It took 3 months after I started, before things got caught up.

The dreaded “error report” for small data entry issues makes me sick to my stomach as working without pay is not something I aspire to. I like your tips though. My issues are- printing costs, rejected shops, and long delays for reimbursement.
Good luck. Just be prepared for long delays in reimbursement and rejected shops. They are unforgiving even if you are a newbie.
It was good money while it lasted but I don't work for free. Bet I am in for over $1000. With their crappy pay and delays be prepared to have an entire credit card revolving with interest. You never catch up. The conversion rate to Euros also makes you lose about fifty cents a job. Adds up.
I've only had a couple items come thru as rejected, but shipping is always reimbursed. And, I don't waste ANY time picking purchases out - just meet the guidelines & get it done. My rotating out of pocket hovers around $200. The money you make per task is pure profit + ship fees are reimbursed. Yes, there's gas + tape, printing, etc, which I'm not thrilled over. And, I know how much is owed me because I reconcile when Paypal hits.
Just wait.... you WILL get a pile of non-paid
no one escapes not and if you say you did it is not true...
they do NOT NOT NOT pay for all completed tasks....

Canada - Please don't call me a liar. I reconcile (as best I can) and there really have only been a few that were not paid. No one is being forced to work for that company. I don't begrudge anyone for wanting to do (legal) work for pay.
Have you all done the math with the Euro/US exchange rate? I feel like I lose money on reimbursements. It adds up.
Google the exchange rate. I do this every time we get paid. And, talking to your lead can be really helpful.
I can assure you are NOT positive NOT totally paid. Worked for them long enough to know it is absolutely impossible,
Even with the exchange rate right off the bat you lost money,
And your ink and tape were free? Nope. You LOST money . And no way every single job was accepted. It is actually not possible. Did it long enough to know.
Good luck and eat the debt...

They totally have a loss for us in euros.
You WILL lose money.[
Even though mon n nut denies it just in Eudora alone you DO lost money. It is absolutely positively impossible not to with conversion rate,
Another thing monk n nut You cannot have been doing this long if you think you lead will help. they change often. You NEVER EVER EVER keep the same one for all jobs done.
N E V E R
So they are not helpful

Fortunately, no one is forced to work the project. To each their own. Have a nice day.
I recently started with BVA, they sent me an email on entering my bank account information, but it will not allow me to fill out one section. I've contacted them through 3 different contacts and they have not responded. Does anyone have any advice on how to complete this??
Hey shopster - Have you had your phone interview? When I started, I had the option of dd or ppal. The dd route didn't pan out for me, so I was asked to provide a ppal email addr. How long has it been since your 1st inquiry about this issue? They are in France. In my experience, 5am emails get the quickest response.
Hi Monk, Yes I have had my phone interview and started the project on 7/17/19. I thought they asked for my PayPal email and I provided to them. Then yesterday, I get an email from BVA saying I need to enter my banking information.
I emailed them yesterday morning and this morning, both between 5 - 5:30 AM. They are 8 hours ahead of my time zone.
Did the req for banking info come from the same person that interviewed you? My info, phone call, prob tickets, all go thru my lead. Once in a blue moon, I escalate. Have you had your first 5 tasks, yet? I had another phone call right before or right after... You want to get the pay sorted out by the end of the month, but the tickets prob won't be verified & paid by 8/5 - just my guess.
I “tried” this and had to quit fairly quickly. I had questions that I didn’t feel were answered (nothing unethical) but the language barrier and words used did not make sense even having my husband look at it and see if he could figure out the meaning. I felt like if I could have had a mentor (shopper friend) who was had done it awhile I might have been able to get it. The phone call went fine; it was just getting going and finding lightweight cheap items etc along with concerns of getting things mailed back in a timely manner that led me to stop.
I get it...the 1st month the pay came out to pennies, after ship fees. The 3rd month it caught up - as my lead said they would. The sentence structure they use is often AWKWARD, but I get the gist of things. And, heck if you have to ask 3 times - very politely - ask 3 times (!) It's not for everyone.

I would have been more than happy to help/co-miserate, Traveliz.

Aw thanks.
The Google online mystery shopping with BVA ended in June with little notice. I was asked to completed some information months later but I was not paid for it. They had a good habit of paying but I never really trusted them. Their contract was in English, made to deceive, and unenforceable. Instead of converting Euros to Dollars by the official exchange rate they made-up their own rate to their benefit. I didn't trust them after seeing the contract so I treated them accordingly and I didn't lose in the end even though I am owed approx $50. I would work for them again.
