Market Force for whom the bell tolls

This is an incredibly balanced and well-thought out post. Thank you.

Agree with both cease and bgriffin. Yes, we can ignore. I'm all for ignoring as long as the usual escalation and victim meltdown doesn't happen. So far it hasn't. Right now the participation is reasonable. On the other hand, one poster monopolizing the forum by starting thread after thread out of random boredom becomes a problem at some point. On still another hand, the jokes and comments have historically set off a rash of long, I'm-a-victim complaints. So, my outlook is that we ignore without making jokes or other provocations that we know (or should know, based on history) will set off long retaliatory posts that lead to time out. If it reaches the point that we cannot ignore, it's time to notify Jacob and let him determine what he wants to do.

Not concerned about the late payments so much, just that reporting expenses is a process where I just absorb them.
True. My NH EZPass registers the next day but MASS and Maine could take more than a week.
I have not found a shop I wish to do for them for ages, so I was wondering... I am a trifle sad as they are the second company I worked for.

Ha! Didn't even notice that... thanks for the giggle smiling smiley

Shopper in California's Bay Area
I too have this same issue, but with I-Pass, which is Illinois' version of EZ Pass (Shopper A.D.D Moment: Having an I-Pass gets you a 50% discount on some tolls in Illinois).

I go back and forth between IL/IN all the time... Imagine having to wait until 4AM to submit a report (and risk it being late/not accepted) because you really could use the $10 (Yes, it cost $10...) reimbursement for taking the Chicago Skyway (I-90) Tollway into Chi-town!
I use an I-Pass as well that I've used in every EZ Pass state. In their case I don't think it's their issue but the reporting state's. I've had some show up immediately and some take 3 or 4 days or longer depending on what state I'm in.

The skyway really isn't faster than 94 these days. There typically seems to be construction & delays. And why would you bill Market Force for these tolls when they aren't necessary at all? You can easily get from NWI into the Loop without any tolls at all.
It took me 52 minutes from home to the Chicago Hilton on Michigan Ave yesterday evening and only 45 minutes on the return trip later last night. Rush hour is the only time the skyway is a consideration for me.

So when is the next meltdown? I say August, maybe sooner.

I wonder if she was given a time out, or if she has been banned...again.

She posted she was leaving, I think she just threw a tantrum and left before she could get chastised about it, though there may have been a followup repercussion.

No, she apparently typo-d when she said she was leaving. She came back and edited that post and said "edit: that should have read "I'm NOT going..." and I fixed it above, but in case someone didn't see that, I did here sa well. " [sic] So, no, I think she's still around.
I can see why you thought that from the way she worded it, but here is a copy/paste snippet of what she wrote:

"I'm going to respond back in kind, so I'll jsut leave.
edit: that should have read "I'm NOT going..." and I fixed it above, but in case someone didn't see that, I did here sa well."

To me, that reads is she is not going to respond back in kind. The rest of the post read like a "goodbye" post.
Oh, and it doesn't really matter if she wants to lurk, as long as she behaves herself and doesn't attack other forum members via PM or otherwise.
Wow. As Jas said, you nailed it. Got any stock picks...lol

LOL, no stock picks (that I'm sharing) :-D

If you have any stock tips, you should share. The more people that purchase the stock the higher it could go up.
True, but what would happen if the picks went sideways?
