spies in Disguise

I did a search here and the info is quite out dated. So, does anyone currently do shops for them and what's your thoughts? Are the shops pretty easy to do or very detailed? Is payment on time? anything else you'd like to share is welcomed.

I have done multiple shops for them over the past 10 years and never had an issue. The reports are pretty straightforward. I have always been paid on time. The pay isn’t great, but I will pick up a shop if I am planning to go there. The pay never covers what I spend but makes for a nice discount for the work involved.
I've done several shops for them, pretty straightforward. I find their website a little bit cumbersome to navigate, and I have had to send payment reminders a couple of times, but I could say that about a lot of mystery shop companies. You should give them a shot.

Used to love them, but my favorite scheduler's spouse died and the person taking over ignores me. Not sure why and no response to emails. I echo Paul's experience. They have some good shops that are worth doing.

I've never done any work for them and had never heard of them until this post. However, if I have the correct website, their shopper application lacks a secure/encrypted connection for your private information. Ekk!

Thanks for pointing this out! I think this kind of info needs to be front and center on this forum. Too many people don't realize the danger of identity theft, and it seems very easy to fall into when having to apply individually to dozens of these MSPs.

(Sorry for all the edits: still learning how to add quotes on here!)

I've been doing work for them for the last several years. I'm shying away from working with them because they are very slow to pay, in my opinion. I did a shop on 11/28/2018 and was paid on 1/10/2019. Shop performed 1/24/2019 and paid on 2/23/2019 (not bad), shop performed on 3/8/2019 and paid on 5/3/2019, and I just performed a shop on 6/19/2019 and have yet to receive payment. They used to pay between the 15th and 20th of the month following your shop, but it's getting longer and longer on the payment. Shop fees are $3-$5 unless you get a bonus, at least around me. I do it for the discount from the reimbursement because it's a place that my wife and I frequent.
Facebook has not been updated since 2014 I guess they do not actually know how to work social media.

I have gone 3 months before being paid so what is your beef with the pay. With all of the different shops, you should be getting money every week or at least I did before the bypass surgery and had to take a year off.

Not Terri's husband I hope?
I’ve done a couple shops for them. They paid on time and even though they asked for a lot of detailed information, they seemed happy with what I submitted. They never have made comments on my evaluations or asked for more information.
