I love in a smallish area where jobs are hard to come by. I have signed up with several companies to maximize my opportunities. Field Agent is one company that has the most opportunities available. I check the app multiple times a day to see if there are any new jobs. If there are and I don't accept them right then, they are literally gone in 2 seconds. This happens every single time. I'm wondering if others are getting notifications or emails that I don't get. Because of the 2 hour limit, a hesitate for a few seconds before accepting the job because I'm not sure if I can get it done in the 2 hours. The most confusing thing I have seen was when I checked the app this morning at 7am there were 4 jobs available. The stores didn't open until 10am so I knew there was no way I could complete and submit them in 2 hours. When I went back in, all 4 of those jobs were gone. How? If someone else took them there is no way they could complete them on time because the store wasn't opening for 3 hours. Is there something I am missing? Do you have an option of extending your time once you accept the job? I really want to do a job for this company but I strike out every time I look. Last weekend I was also seeing scavenger hunts and I haven't seen that category since Sunday. Is that normal? From looking through the FAQs it looks like there are several categories that don't come up on my app. I'm not sure if that's a location or settings issue.

I notice the same thing with FA and wonder as well how they could be taken when the store is not open yet. I surmise, they are being scooped up and when they expire they show up again and then they are scooped up by the same people... I think they call them hoarders. I know I've had a few times when I hit traffic and the job expired before I could complete it, but showed up a few minutes later and I was able to pick it up again. If anyone else knows how it works with their shops, please share.

I've wondered that too. But I am assuming if I select a job and end up not being able to complete it on time it would lower my rating. If that's what they are doing it can't be good for their rating. I'm hoping someone has tips for FA. From what I've seen so far, they have the most jobs in our area. I just can't ever snag them.

Field Agent works a bit different than other apps. Many of their jobs are national quota jobs. As an example, the client might want 1000 stores evaluated. Those stores will be available to everyone, if in your area. Once data is submitted for 1000 stores, the remaining ones disappear. If any one flakes or the job is rejected, all the remaining locations open up again. So in many instances, you are competing with everyone currently looking at jobs, across the country. That doesn’t apply to every job they have, but it happens frequently. If you are on the east coast, you’ve got the advantage!

I thought that was the case, particularly for the pizza buy and try client. I have never been able to snag one of those and they seem to disappear as soon as the time slot opens for scheduling. I’m on the West Coast.

Buy and try is one of the categories I have never seen available to me. I can't decide if there are just none in my area or if my settings are wrong. Just like the scavenger hunts were there for me last week and this week they aren't.

I do alot for F.A. I only snag a job out of the time frame if I feel it would be already taken and i want to get the free payout. For instance, I took a job that started at 12:30 at 11:15am because I wanted to be sure I got it as it was the only left and paid 15 bucks ( hard to for by for FA).
I had a long report to fill so I arrived at the mall around 11:30 and just waited until it was time to start. I dont mind the wait as I need the money.
Luckily, I live in a major city and there are multiple jobs most days. I do see alot of rural jobs but I will not travelling anywhere unless it is on the way.

Usually it's a case of the quota being filled, as mentioned above, but I have also noticed that sometimes they have issues with jobs "going live" then disappearing several times in one day. It makes me wonder if their job posting system sometimes glitches.

The last two jobs I accepted expired without the app ever allowing me to complete the job.

It let me read the shop overview, accept the job, assigned it to me, then the app didn't respond when I tried to do the shops. I was already on-site, and did not accept the job until I was on site. I have plenty of data, and I had 5 bars of service. But the app just absolutely stared back at me and did nothing at all. Wouldn't open to the job. But the timer was there, and live, and I could see the seconds and minutes counting down.

I am truly afraid to even try again. This was after over 30 successful jobs.

Stormraven73 I think so too. It happened to me today. I was going to accept an assignment today that had to be done between 1-6 but I wanted to go home first so I waited. When I got home it was gone so I didn't go. When I checked later it was back but by that time it was 5:45. Then later I had to go to the store. I checked the scavenger hunts before I left and was all set to search a few out. When I got to the store they were gone. When I checked after I got back home they were back. It's very frustrating.

Does anybody here do the scavenger hunts? I haven't been able to find the few items I've looked for and it looks kind of like a time sink. Is there a trick to it?

Panama18 I've tried but I haven't been successful. I've read that they are items that may be discontinued and found in clearance sections. What I have found is when finding products in the shelves that match the information on the job, the UPC is like 1 number off. They are frustrating, but I am determined to find at least 1. ????
