Advice Please

On 08/10/19, I completed 2 Gas Station Shops( Mystery Shop and Revealed Assessment). They are very detailed and require several pictures. One shop was approved and the other remains in QC( Quality Control?).I think the shop was approved the shop because they will be only paying for the Mystery Shop portion. That station was weird, but fell into the category listed in the instructions. I signed up for 2 additional this week and have completed one , its in QC as well.. I haven't gotten any correspondence from the MSC. Starting feel a little uneasy about completing the remaining shop. Should I cancel it? May not get Paid for 3 shops.....

There's not enough information for me to give you any advice. You can name the MSC as long as you don't name the client. It will be easier for shoppers who also do the same shops for the MSC to give you advice.

The MSC is Market Force

Some shops take longer in OC than others for no reason I have ever been able to comprehend. I've worked for them since 2010 and some are approved fast and others slow, Sometimes I've done 2 shops on the same day and one is approved the next day and the other takes 6 days. ???? Keep calm and wait. It's my experience that if anything about the shop is get questions, you will get an email almost immediately. Shops that stay in QC for a few days do not seem to be disallowed at a greater rate than shops reviewed and approved fast. Don't worry. Canceling the other shops is your call, but I would not cancel them.

My sense is that sometimes somebody forgets to push the button for the accepted shop to exit QC. I have been paid for shops that were still showing as being in QC. If they had real issues the shop would have just been ditched. So like others, I would encourage you not to worry until/unless you get a shop rejection.

Yeah, don't worry about a hop still in HQ. It will get done eventually. I've had one sit for over a week. Yes the norm is they are taken care of quickly, but there's no way of knowing why it sits, just don't take it to mean it's a bad shop. Sometimes a client deadline is coming up on Saturday so all editors are focuses of getting those shops done, while the shop in QC has a client deadline of the first of the month.
