So what can you tell me about Observa?

Just saw messages about a company making payments in a day or two ... sounds good. What can you all tell me about them as a company, rough idea of payment for shops, what's involved, and client types (not clients themselves, obviously.)

I love Observa! They are an app based MSC. I did a lot of their gas station meter shops. These were $12-16. They also have merchandising and consumer type shops that are $4-6. Last week, I did a shop where I had to go to a big box store and buy some food storage containers. Reimbursement was $30 and the fee was $6. I completed the report in my car in the parking lot. I was paid by the time I went to my last shop of the day.

The "bad:" the editors are very inconsistent. I did my first 3 meter reads the exact same way. The third one was rejected because I did not take a certain picture.

The app offers views of a radial map or a list of shops. When I choose to view the list, the app crashes.

After two times I open it crashes and to see it fully I need to reboot my iphone

Best app for audits in my opinion. I got lucky and got 2 Observas in my city last weekend. They paid me the same day and it was the weekend!! Really good if you can travel rural as there are lots left. I have never had an audit rejected. I have also got a few of their bonuses. Paid is good for now especially for Canadians. Hope they dont ruin this app lol

Thank you all for the information. Nothing of too much value at the moment in my area, but always good to have another source for shops...especially when I am just driving through an area with an Uber passenger ... check the app, and see if there is anything interesting in the area to do.

Love, love, love Observa! I've done over 100 so far and only had 1 rejection which they reversed on appeal. Got a nice bonus and was able to catch up on some bills. If I could marry Observa I would!

I did a bunch of gigs with them a couple months ago and got paid for all within 24 hours, easy peasy. I will say that their app KILLS my battery. It is consistently running/using the location even if turned off. I either have to uninstall it or manually kill the location permission when not actively using. Not sure if anyone else has this issue (i'm on android.)

I got paid for the report for the food storage containers within 2 hours and reimbursement the next day.

@Arist I have exactly this same issue and Observa basically said I was too stupid to understand turning off that setting in app or closing the app. They basically ignored the content of the email. I only occasionally use them because they require in app pictures which are @#$%& quality and they never order their questions in a sensible way so there is a lot of wandering back and forth to complete something.
