NON-PAYMENT! Do NOT contract with this Company. I was contacted by them the first of July to do price auditing jobs in Wichita, KS. I worked for them (EVERY WEEK) completing the audits. Was never paid one dime. I was told on 3 different occasions, "the accounting Dept is processing your payment, "the payroll Dept is cutting the check"...then I was told an actual date that "allegedly" 4 checks were cut and sent to me. I have yet to see any money. I am owed almost 1K for them for jobs completed. They are a scam!

That's really weird. I did some pricing audits for them earlier this year and was paid with no issues. I hope that your problem gets resolved.

They use overseas operators, but they still have an office in Santa Ana, CA I believe.

I don't see DSG on the pinned payment date thread. Perhaps they pay in 60 days which means you may be paid in the next couple of weeks. I hope I'm right as I have done a couple of shops for them recently.

No, I got paid. I think it was about a month after each assignment.

The OP sounds just like Jay Leno smackin' his lips in anticipation of a hearty meal of road kill. My experiences with DSG are diametrically opposed to his/hers.

I have not shopped DSG in the last month or two, but have never had issues in the several years that I've shopped for them. Did you check and make sure there wasn't something with the post office....wrong zip, new carrier? Sorry you're going thru this - that's a lot of money!

Wrosie: Their policy clearly states 42 days. I contract with another company who works with Shopping Scout (the same company DSG contracts with) and I get paid within 14 days by them. The issue is DSG.

I've done their restaurant shops. never had a problem.

Please keep us updated. I would guess your checks will arrive soon. I know that I have had a few issues at my house with mail delivery at times, I sure hope that's all it is in your case! But double check to make sure that they have you address correct. Oh, also, if you have a common name (like mine), double check that they sent it to the right person. Now DSG has never done that to me, but on 2 separate occasions in the past 20 years 1 mystery shopping company and 1 merchandising company sent my pay to another person with the same name in a different state.

I don't overly love the way DSG calls me three or four times a day, but I've been doing the price audits for them for the last three months. I've received checks pretty consistently around a month and a half after doing the shop. They state 42 days, but they do say "from audit period completion," which may not be the day you finish the audit.
So far, they're okay to work for. I will say that their project completion form is really poorly designed.

They insisted on calling me to do a doughnut shop an hour away...I finally de-activated because they wouldn't stop, then got a nice apology email, but they have two jobs here, neither is my thing. Bad vibes from that scheduler.

I just started doing shops for them and haven't minded yet. They are fast food restaurants which I love eating there. The shop takes less than 10 minutes and the report maybe 10 minutes. I just don't like the constant calls throughout the day.

Update: I FINALLY received one check from them after 2 months of work completed. I was then informed (and lied to AGAIN), about the future mailings of the rest of the pay they owe me. I don't have time to chase my money around...from ANY company. Unless you want to constantly have to hound them for your check EVERY week, I would not do any work for them.

Unclebobg. Thank you for your input. I totally agree with the poor design of the audit completion form. They also don't list under your profile any "additional" pricing audits that you may do in between the actual audit dates. There is a place in the profile information (for audits completed), for a record of payment & amount. However, DSG does not utilize this either. I simply had to hope for the best. This was a big mistake on my part.

Yeah. I am doing their audits in the big box store and have no complaints about timing of the pay. What I hate is that they call me a couple times a day asking me to do fast food shops for $8. The problem is that the shops are 40 miles away and take an hour to get to. I keep telling them why I won’t take the shops, but they keep calling anyway. Plus, I’ve now been doing their big box price audits for ten weeks and never been late or not completed one, yet their Operations Manager keeps sending me emails practically accusing me of not trying to finish the jobs. (This is a recent development.)

EVERY single person I have dealt with at DSG has either been impossible to understand what they are attempting to communicate to me (both verbally or in email form), and/or they have been deceitful and unprofessional.

I wanted to share an update regarding DSG and their payment system. They have been an absolute nightmare to work with and get ANY and ALL of my checks from them. I have had to spend hours of my time chasing down EVERY single check that they owed me!! I did an address change (so I thought) with them. It was never put in the system. It was a wild goose chase getting those checks to me FINALLY!!! I have 1 more check left to receive. I have been hassling with them for a month now to get it to me (the accounting Dept made the error). It's almost 3 months now since I completed the work. It's been nothing but a hassle!! Beware of contracting with DSG!!

I don’t like their system, as I’ve mentioned previously, but I will say that their checks have arrived on time, week after week, with the correct amounts.

That is good to know. I have had several conversations with them. Needless to say, the last one was quite rude (on my part). I just want my final check and I will never deal with them again!

I have not seen any shops from them for several months. I guess the flyover states do not count.
