Mintel Shops

Mintel has some decent paying shops that involve data collection.

They have an ongoing wireless provider shop for $5. Upload texts on certain topics from your provider.

They just offered a bonus on texts received from a wide variety of companies.

Yes, the credit card shop was great. I did a shop through Maritz and got a rewards card that I have been using for mystery shops. I phased out my old card in May. Both cards were eligible for the Mintel shop.

Sorry, my bad!

Is anyone doing the current credit card shop with Mintel where you apply for card and then send communications for 6 mos?
Yes, I got one from a rather large bank in the northeast. Not the greatest card for general spend, but with the pay for opening the card, it's decent.
If it's structured like their other shops, you submit surveys throughout the month ("Start a new survey"winking smiley, then submit a final invoice at the end of the month ("Complete Month/Assignment and Submit Invoice"winking smiley (or as close to their pay schedule as you can, not always on the 30th/31st, that's typically payday). I've NEVER had an issue with them paying out.
I have done work for Mintel for years and understand their reporting and payment process. I was curious as to how one can take a screen shot of the mobile (cellphone) app. I was thinking of just taking a photo with my camera.
Are you asking how to capture a screenshot on a mobile phone? If so, I do it regularly by swiping the side of my hand across the screen. There are apparently other ways to do it as well. Ask Google using the search term: Android screenshot

I will Google it for my phone. I should have thought of doing that as I am a BIG one for Googling everything!
If you have a Samsung, hold the home and right side buttons at the same time.

Also, if you swipe down twice from the top, you will see the option.

Well, when I quit learning new things, I'll be dead! Thx everyone. I actually did the hand swipe and it worked well for me. I will practice a little more to make sure it always works before finishing my Mintel shop.
Mintel is now on the iSecretShop platform. I signed my ICA today.

I am hoping that they will be on both. Here's to hoping.

Well I'll be darned...so it is!!! I, too, just went and signed my ICA for Mintel on the iSS site. Funny thing is, not 15 minutes ago, I ALSO went on the OTHER Mintel site and did the survey to see if I qualify for their credit card 3 month statement job. So for now, at least, Mintel is on two sites....so strange!! I wonder why they did this??? I didn't get any sort of email about it....did anyone else????
After reading this about Mintel, I went to ISS to sign the contract. It's been a long time since I've updated any contracts and WOW, was I surprised to see so many companies I've never even heard of. Probably most don't have anything around me, but I was really surprised I didn't know about them after being a shopper for so long....Dead Ringers..um no thanks!

I didn't sign up with Dead Ringers either.

I like iSS and haven't had any problems with the platform. I do a lot of shops for one of their companies. The reports are done quickly through the app.

I applied for the card, but have not received any instructions yet on the web scrape. How long after you opened the account did you get that information?
An email was sent out that if you received your card but do not have a webscrape survey on the Mintel website, to let them know. I had to do that.

Thanks!!
Yes, I just finished mine. Ugh, tedious. And the bank card I got had a security policy on the mobile app that would not allow me to take screenshots. Never encountered that before. I had to create a word document explanation and upload that in place of the screenshots.

Mintel just posted a month long study for signing up for new auto insurance. They want to monitor all communication:texts, emails, phone calls and snail mail. It pays $150+.
