Coyle since new policy

Those of you who shop for Coyle, what has it been like for you now that they have the "one and done" policy for the restaurants? We have shopped all of the local restaurant clients that we are interested in, so I have not completed a Coyle shop in a while. I applied for five smaller burger shops but have not been assigned to any, so it appears the policy applies to the sub $200 shops also. We are in a major area, near two major cities.

Do you mean that once you have shopped a location, you are like, out of rotation FOREVER?

Key phrase: local restaurant clients that we are interested in

I have for the most part always considered the Coyle shops one-offs anyway. I have also exhausted the majority of interesting and local shops. I have expanded my horizons with shops that I may not have been interested in, but had some interesting experiences. I have also been discovering a lot of restaurants that are not local, since I have been traveling most of the summer.

When I'm working out of LA, I'm lucky to do 2 shops a month for Coyle, and it has been that way for years. I wait for the new and interesting clients to appear and then pounce on them.

That's what they told me. But, I just got assigned to a shop that's across the street from me that I have shopped at least three other times for them. So, I am confused at the moment!

That makes sense. When we traveled this summer, I was able to get assigned to those restaurants.
I've definitely gotten less allocations since they implemented their policy, but weirdly have just been allocated a restaurant I have been to twice already... I wish I could follow their logic!
I have not inquired nor do I know anything about this once and final visit rule. I do know I have received emails regarding a one year rotation for venues we have visited in the past. I think it is the client's rules. In any event, it's got to be a restaurant we are interested in. I space out Coyle opportunities and all others as well.
