Mobee assignment refused but appeal accepted

Just got an assignment refused because a photo was too close and therefore did not show the entire display table. They wanted a “straight on” photo however It was impossible to get a straight on photo further away from the table due to the location of fixtures behind me. I did take the picture in horizontal mode. I appealed and told them their instructions should address this. Perhaps they should state an angled view is okay if that is the only way to get a photo of the entire table. They also had me take photos from the left and right sides so they can see the entire contents of the table. Has any one else had a similar problem where the layout of the store does not permit you to take the required photo? Too bad there is not a way to take a panorama photo within their app. I am awaiting an answer from them to my appeal.

Edited title to show appeal was successful

Maybe you could have taken two photos to capture the entire table and attached the extra photo plus included a comment?

I thought of that but I don’t see where the Mobee app allows for extra photos. Since my other photos of the left and right side of the table showed everything I don’t see why they rejected the assignment. Asking us to do something that’s impossible just doesn’t make sense. Their response will be interesting.

Mobi app lets you upload multiple photos. Is Mobee a different one entirely?

Yes they are completely different.
In my experience, Mobee is pretty understanding when you appeal. I've got rejected twice, and that's because I didn't read the instructions clearly.
I received an email today saying that they have now accepted my shop. Unfortunately they did not address how to avoid this problem in the future. Maybe they will take my suggestion that I provided in the appeal, and include instructions on future missions on what to do when the store fixtures will not allow a photo to be taken straight on from a distance.
back when I was doing merchandising I would take a photo from the next aisle over unless it was at Wal-mart then I would have to track down a ladder and get up on it then get yelled at by the boss of the department.

Sure, I could find a ladder and take a photo discreetly from the next aisle over. I’m sure I would stay undercover and no one would notice me doing this!
