Asked to do a shop by one company on behalf of another.

I signed up for gigspot and one of the companies that uses this site (AboutFace) sent me an email about doing a restaurant shop on behalf of a Canadian mystery shop company that is also confirmed to be legit on this forum(Performalogics). The details appear to be pretty standard... ordering a complete meal with up to $40 dollars reimbursement plus a $10 shop fee. The sender is @aboutfacecorp.com which seems legit.

I responded that I was interested shortly after getting the email and got assigned a location within minutes. This included more details about the shop along with a general aboutface account to log in with on the Canadian shopping company website that I would use to fill out my report.

However, I've now realized that I still have yet to see the actual requirements of the shop in regards to photos needed or things to look for. A couple of the pieces of information I did get seem to be slightly contradictory in regards to what I have to order.

I sent a message asking for clarification on a few aspects and 14 hours later I have yet to hear back.

I'm wondering what other people make of this particular situation?

Are you signed up with performalogics?

The job requirements are under their training section. Guidelines, report sample, current month's requirements. (My favourite company)
That is interesting that Performalogics is your favorite company. I find them to be my least favorite solely because they underpay, I think.
Some years back, I completed a video assignment through Instant-Replays for Jancyn. There was never any contact with Jancyn, no written report was required and I was paid by Instant-Replays. I was told it was for a client of Jancyn, but that they did not have the facility for video.
This isn't that odd. The same thing happens in NV and in the video world, such as shopperbob's example. All you have to do is log into the performalogics site using the userid and pw provided and you should see all of the shop details you're looking for there.

I am guessing, and it's only a guess, that the end client is probably a Canadian company. Or at least Performalogics likely has the entire contract. Since they mostly do shops in Canada and don't have a vast US shopper base they have outsourced those locations to About Face. It's easier to report the shop on the Performalogics site than it is to report it on About Face's and then transfer it over.
