Is Management Consultant Group a Legit MSC (or scam)?

Hey all:

I received an email from: MSSCHEDULERRECRUITING@gmail.com

She claims to represent MCG, which I have never registered with.

There is a link to the company website: [mcg.shopmetrics.com]

If it IS LEGIT, I wouldn't mind doing the project and signing up. But, if fake, I obv. am not giving them my SS#, birth date, name, address, PayPal, etc. etc.

Just wanting to check if others have had any experiences with MCG. Thanks!

There is a legitimate MSC called Management Consulting Group. I suggest that you find them in the "Official List" at the bottom of this page and use the link there to navigate to their website. While it is possible that they are using a Gmail account, that is suspicious. The website you posted is truncatd. I suggest erring on the side of caution and using the link in the "Official List" at the bottom of this page.

Another reason it was suspicious was that Gmail flagged me with the *WARNING* message below too.

Oddly enough, I think that email might be legit. I signed up for them and the list on their website is the same (I didn't check everything but overall it looks the same) as the one in the email.

A long time ago I was registered with GigSpot. I have since deleted GigSpot, but it looks like I have an account with all the companies from GigSpot so I was able to log into MCG.

I decided to assume a little risk and followed the link that Shop posted above. It actually leads to the legitimate site (where I am registered).

MCG legit company owner very nice gentlemen with a lot of shops in the south.

Right now, their website shows only 19 available shops. One is in Hawaii, the other 18 are in Louisiana.

Can anyone confirm that email is the email for the scheduler at MCG? I can't seem to find a contact email anywhere on their shopmetrics site.
