Market Force rude and pushy callers.

Yeah they're kinda clueless. And I love it when they offer you less than the current price on the website.

i recently did one that's about 40 minutes away because I was going to be up there and needed to kill some time (plus the fries). I can hardly wait for them to call me and ask me to do it again.

I got a call asking about a shop for today or tomorrow. I didn't want to cook tonight, so we'll be eating burgers and fries. The interesting thing is that the scheduler said they'd give it to me for my "usual" $18. I didn't bother to tell her that the most I've ever got for that location is $15 (and now I can ask for my "usual" when they call next time).

That is great if it works.
Interesting.. I always got my "usual $18" for one location but this week I got $25 for it because no one had taken any of last week's shops (it was being offered on the website, after they rejected my offer for $25). Next time they call me to do it, I'll see if they offer me the usual $25 or if I will have to ask for me, and whether they agree to give it to me again.

They will probably offer $18. They always offer $18, they like that number. But if you counter and insist on the 25 they "usually give you" they will probably tell you they will ask / submit for approval and let you know. Then the approval email will arrive shortly. They will make you ask for it each time but they won't put up much fuss before giving it to you.
The 908 schedulers, the ones I work with most, don't negotiate anymore. They know what bonuses I like and which locations I do.

Have they stopped calling? I haven't heard from them in a few weeks since I didn't take their call one day.
I got a lot of calls this week from them. One last minute shop I took from their website for $25. That will be my new fee for that location when the schedulers call.

They continue to call me, but I screen my calls and don't pick up unless it's somebody I really talk to. They don't leave messages. If they would, I'd call them back if I were interested in the shop. I can't fill a shop if I don't know what they want.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
A change in rules? I got a call from the overseas scheduling department and right off the bat they offered me the bonus I got last time for the same location. Usually they start at $3 lol.
