Informa Payments

Ok, so I think I just completed my first shops with Informa since they switched over to the Sassie platform. I guess their payment process has changed. I believe they used to pay via check? I just received an email from them saying I would be getting a confirmation of my Zelle payment within 1-3 business days. They don't do Paypal payments? I'm assuming I need to set up an account with Zelle?

1) They did not switch over to Sassie. They added shops on the Sassie platform.
2) Wait until you get notification of a Zelle payment. It will have instructions as to what to do. Depending upon where you bank, you may be ready to accept Zelle payments already.

My bank doesn't deal with Zelle. So I had to set up a Zelle account on my phone. The BAD thing about this, and I called Zelle and asked about this, is that there is NO PASSWORD REQUIRED to set up the Zelle account on your phone!! Someone can just access your Zelle account. So if you have to set up a Zelle account on your phone, be SURE and keep your phone LOCKED!! One never knows. So far, I haven't taken any Informa jobs since they switched over to Zelle because of the lack of security on the phone app. It's just crazy in this day and age that an app such as Zelle would not have password protection!!! Call them yourself and find out about this!!
I had diffficulty setting up a Zelle account and decided that I didn't do enough work for Informa to put up with the aggravation. I never did get it set it set up. I just flat don't understand why these companies go with some obscure app. like Zelle.
Zelle is not obscure at all. Major banks and many institutions are using it to facilitate free, and secure, transfers of funds. Some on my tenants have used it to pay the rent directly into my account. The Federal Reserve is considering it as a model for a national system of free transfer. I use it to pay personal transfers, such as to my sister.

However, if you use the phone app for it, I hear that it is not as secure.

Zelle is not obscure. Zelle owned by the banks Bank of America, BB&T, Capital One, JPMorgan Chase, PNC Bank, US Bank, Citibank, and Wells Fargo. Definitely not obscure.

They also have partner financial institutions. the list is huge: [www.zellepay.com] I suggest that you check the list to see if your bank of CU is a partner. If it is, using Zelle is even easier.

I love Zelle. Once I accept the payment, it is in my bank account literally immediately.

I just had my first Informa shops approved. Anyone know how long they take to pay after approved?
Once set up, Zelle is great. Ivueit uses Zelle to pay. I've also sent money across country to a friend via Zelle. Most large banks have it.

I completed shops on Oct 9. When should I expect to be paid?

I registered on clearXchange right away, but then received an email that my account was deactivated because I had not received a payment for the past 18 months. (The account was set up only a week before this email.) I then tried to register with Zelle, but my bank is not listed so I was directed to load the app to my phone. That has not worked either.

Any suggestions??? Will I get an email from either Informa or ClearXchange when the payment is sent so I can then try to collect the $$?

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!!
I had the same problem with registering with Zelle. If you contact your scheduler she will try to help you. My scheduler offered but since I don't do that much work for Informa I opted not to deal with adding one more app to my cell phone. I wish Zelle could be set up on the computer but if it can, I haven't figured out how to do that. They did send a check to me and I will do no more work for Informa as long as they are using Zelle for payments.
I'm confused on the thread. I can search for shops on Sassie for Informa. When I look at the website, I have trouble finding shops ... but they are on the website too? Thanks, everyone!
