KSS

I recently got back into mystery shopping. While applying for shops, I found out that I was blackballed due to erroneous information on the Maritz site. They have it listed that I flaked on seven shops in 2008, which I did not do. (Kern Scheduling was very nasty to me about this). A Maritz employee relayed to Kern that "shopper called in and canceled on Cadillac 3 part shop. She had some excuss about a mailbox story. She is not going to be a reliable shopper" (sic). Mind you, these flakes were allegedly from 2008. I called Martiz, and they assured me that this information was not correct and that they would correct it. It has been three weeks. I have done two large shops for Maritz, but they still have not fixed the information, and I am still getting turned down by other companies due to this incorrect information. I have emailed Martiz, no response. I have called Martiz (recorded calls), who assured me there would be a correction made with follow up (has not happened). Any suggestions? I am at my wit's end with this company.

If Kern is involved, it's best to deal directly with the scheduler who blackballed you.

okay. Thank you. Maritz doesn't know which scheduler said that or why they would say that. Kern won't respond to any of my emails now. I'm going to try to talk to someone at Maritz again.
Pete at KSS reads this forum, and often responds to shoppers' posts.

You might want to either change the title of this thread, or start another that says KSS, so Pete will see it.

But he might see it anyway, as he currently or in the past handled Maritz shops.

And how do you know this old information is what's preventing you from getting assignments with other companies? Have you been shopping for Marketforce, Intellishop, IPSOS, etc., etc., etc.?
Nola Penny flat out told me. Thank you for the advice. If I can figure it out I will change the title.

Lorri Kern owns the company. Send her an email to get to the bottom of this. She will direct you on who to speak with.
