I noticed yesterday that there were 3 shops available in my area and today there are none. Are they done providing shops for the rest of the year? I've e-mailed them but no response and nothing in the discussions on the website. Anyone else not seeing jobs?

There are over 50 MF shops available in my area.

That would be my guess.

It is the same in my town, no shops at all where there are usually at least a dozen that just sit on the board, but for surrounding towns within 30 miles of me, there are shops. I don't know what is going on, but I'm glad to find out it just isn't me.
I've noticed they are not accepting any of my offers for the shops. Every one at my normal accepted price has been declined. Has anyone else had this happen? And yes, the number of shops has declined around here.
Same 8 shops in my area here...about 100 when I check other zips.

I'm not sure how making an offer actually works. Once I saw a shop with make an offer and I was happy with the original pay. I went ahead and asked for $1 more. It was rejected and the message said I could accept the shop as listed. Why say make an offer if you are only going let me do it at the price listed? Nuts.

And yes, in my area the list went from 170 to 50 shops overnight. I don't think it is competition. But I do wonder if the phone schedulers take shops off the list so they can assign them over the phone. Which is unfair but possible.

Yes. When schedulers are working on a shop, they "lock" it so other shoppers/schedulers can't see it.

(This info was given to me by a MF scheduler.)
Shops posted for January and several have even lower fees. It's hardly worth starting my car for these. The tax office audit is now $8...really? I use to do them for $25. Past few years they started at $10 I think. They are easy, but $8? That's really low. Gas station audits start at $6 with $10 reimbursement. Well the reimbursement is better, but no thanks. I don't see any gas station mystery shops posted yet. I hope the reimbursement is $10 for those too. That wouldn't be all that bad if it can be used for gas.
