The Source Editors Might Not Be Able to Read

I have had several shops where The Source has asked for clarification on questions that were submitted with very clear answers. Today they sent a request within 2 minutes of me submitting my report. They wanted me to "clarify the time the appointment began." The appointment started at the time I checked in on their app. How much clearer can that be? Really! 8:49 AM is 8:49 AM, right?

This isn't the first time that this has happened. It seems they have an issue with every third or fourth shop and each time, I respond with directly quoting the original report with the exact same verbiage and, voila, it's resolved. I can't figure out if this is a literacy issue or if their editors just don't have enough to do.

I don't mind clarifying or even repeating info that was in the report, but sometimes it borders on the ridiculous. I once did a bunch of shops for a different msc that required that I time the two cars ahead of me, as well as time my own time at the window. At one stop, the two cars got done in less than a minute each. My time at the window was over five minutes. I got a request to confirm my timings. Politely did so. Got a second request to confirm that I was at the window for over five minutes. Again politely did so. For the third email, I was asked why the two cars ahead of me were done in less that a minute while my time was over five minutes. I told the editor that I did not know. For her FOURTH email, she asked me to give a synopsis of what was occurring inside that made my wait so long. At that point I told her that I could not see into the store from my vantage point, as my car window was lower than the drive thru window. She bumped that up to the supervisor who scolded me about sassing the editor. I copied the supervisor with all the emails, not that it did any good. I was told that further emails must remain professional or I would be removed from the program. Well, I removed myself from the program. At the time I lived in a hard to fill location, and I saw their $14 shops go up to $25-30 before anyone would take them.

Yeah, drives me crazy when they want to know what was going on INSIDE when I was sitting in my car OUTSIDE.

Sometimes (rarely), I can explain -- "The car in front of me was at the speaker for over 5 minutes, as there were several passengers in the car, and they kept changing the orders. I know this, because I could hear them at the speaker." "The car in front of me was at the window for over 5 minutes. I saw them receive a bag of food, then 38 seconds later, they handed the bag to the person at the window. The rest of the time, they waited until the order was delivered to them." I can only report what I see/hear; I can't tell them what was going on inside, LOL.
I think with the source the primary issue is software flagging certain responses automatically for clarification. I have not always paid attention to timing, but I know that I have seen a trend with certain pickbox responses triggering the due diligence or clarification right after submission,as if you did not add some relevant comments already. Yes, it does get silly and is annoying. That is why I never do too much with them. Too busy doing other things.
