General Question Re: MarketForce Payments

I did three shops for MF in November, two at the beginning of the month and one in the third week of the month. The first two have "fallen off" my status page, meaning they're in for payment processing. The last one is still on the staus page. Since payment is around two days away, does this mean the third shop won't be included? My understanding has always been that any shop completed in the previous month will be paid the following month.

I've emailed the help desk, but sometimes it takes a couple of days to get a response. Can anyone shed light on this? Thanks!

During months where I perform only one or two shops for MF, the shops remain on the status page even though I get paid for them. I'm not sure exactly how it works but I always have some shops on my status page and usually at least one is from the previous month. In the 10 years I've worked for them, I haven't ever not been paid for shops at the right time, even though many of them remain on my status page. I've never been able to figure it out. Don't worry. I'm pretty sure you will get paid for all 3 November shops this month.
I think that payment follows approval dates not shop date or submission date. So if you did the shop very close to the end of the month maybe it didn't get approved in that month.

I've had similar looking things where shops disappear or shops linger, but I always seem to be paid what I expected even if they aren't showing on the web site correctly.

I once asked about a missing shop that had been listed as approved but that had strangely disappeared. They said that the client had cancelled the shop after it was already done due to some issues (unrelated to the shop) at the location and that they had to code it differently in their system.. They went on to volunteer that nothing was wrong with the shop and I would be paid as agreed, but since the job was now coded differently it no longer showed up. When payment came, it was on there. So the summary of all that is that MF apparently has internal processing unrelated to us that sometimes impacts the listings.

When I first started shopping for them, I couldn't understand why shops went into a "black hole" the month after I'd done them. They didn't show up on the status page as "approved," nor did they show up on the payment page. I checked with the help desk, and they explained that when a shop is being processed for payment, it falls off the assignment status page and won't show up anywhere in your account until it's been paid and is on your "payment history" page. Because this particular shop is still showing on my assignment status page, I wasn't sure it would be processed for payment in time for this month's deposit.

Happy to report that they got back to me far more quickly than I expected, and that shop will be paid this month. Go figure.

I just got paid for all the Market Force shops I did in November. One of my November shops is still on the receipt/status page even though I already got paid.

Same here. I did get paId for all three November shops, but one is still showing on the status page. I really thought they all dropped off as soon as they were in processing for payment. Next time I won't get worried....

The status page is for 30 days, regardless. If you are on the website, sometimes you can see older shops via the link on the My Shops page to the 'assignment/receipt status' page.

Unless a shop is declined, MS pays out all shops around the 20th of the following month.

They always pay "around" the 20th. It depends on your definition of "around"! Here is the definition I found:

"Around" means at approximately the same time, not exactly the same time. The meaning of "around" or "approximately" depends on the context. Therefore, "around the time" could mean a few days or even weeks off in either direction.

The latest I received payment this year was the 28th and that was only one month. All other months were closer to the 20th. I would be happy if all of my MSC's were as reliable.
