Help! I need advice and can't contact Market Force.

Today I did a breakfast shop and a lunch shop for Market Force. I reported the breakfast shop immediately on the form for the lunch location. When I got home and was about to report the lunch shop, I realized my mistake. It's past the office hours time to call them. I e-mailed, but normally don't get a response for at least 24 hours. That will be too late to "fix" this. The form for the breakfast shop is still on my home page, so I am considering entering the information again. I can't report the lunch shop because the form is no longer available (since I used it to report the wrong location.) If I do, it will automatically be rejected because the same photos would be submitted again. Help! Any advice?

I'm not advising you, I can only say what I would do: reschedule the shop you cannot report. Yes, you will be out of pocket.

E-mail the help desk, tell them what you did, ask them to CANCEL the shop that you reported, or if they possibly can, reschedule it to you.

I do believe if you submit the second report, BOTH will be invalidated.

However, I believe this is exacty what a professional would do: apologize, and do your best to "make it right".

Thanks for your input. I've been a shopper for almost 20 years and have completed thousands of shops. Only once have I made such an error as I did today. The first time wasn't technically my fault. For some reason, my computer messed up the title of two gas station pictures and I submitted the same picture for both shops. Both were invalidated. That's how I know that this situation (which is definitely my fault) would result in both being invalidated if I resubmitted. Re-shopping and losing money is not nearly as important as the responsibility to the company to complete two deadline shops. Like you, I consider myself a professional and want to do the right thing. I re-scheduled one shop for tomorrow and will just have to wait for a reply about the other.
Hope you get a response from them soon. It is ridiculous that they are so hard to get a hold of within a reasonable timeframe anymore.
