In the over 30 years I have been shopping I had on site training once when Maritz started an audit at a gas station. We got paid for going to the training. That was many years ago.
There's one that has not been mentioned by name that i would love to know. They shop a place that would be awesome to mystery shop. It's alluded me.
A few years back, Ardent Services required site training for a specific client, but said client discontinued their shopping program. I attended, was feed and paid a training fee included with my first my first job.
I don't know if they still have the program, but Chipotle used to have their own on-site training.
HSBrands does in-person casino training. If you get trained in-person, you have first priority for jobs.

I'm not expecting an answer. I do think I figured it out though and applied to their site, but never heard back.
Although there was some in-person training for Ardent's current client they've moved over to online training.
Ardent has a whole bunch of already trained shoppers. If they ever need more shoppers they will reach out, but I am not sure that their current client is expanding that much.
@NinS, you always have the scoop! winking smiley

Their current client is opening new stores every month. I had shopped (rather briefly) for their old client and got recruited to the current project a few months back. If you had a good relationship with your scheduler and the current client has a nearby location it might be worth reaching out. As always Ardent remains a uniformly excellent company in every respect, especially when it comes to communication and reliability of pay.
I did have a great relationship with my scheduler and I was also on their editing team for awhile. However, their current client only has 3 locations in my state and none are in or near my city.
The scheduler reached out to me regarding the current client of Ardent shortly after they started that program. I had the same sort of training as with their former client. But their current client is opening new stores fairly often. The last bunch that were mentioned as opening are not on the west coast. The current client is based on the east coast but there are three locations near me in Los Angeles. If you know who the client is and live nearby you might contact your former scheduler and ask. From what I can tell there are several locations that still need shoppers.
I do believe that the client is changing the mystery shop program for 2020. Not sure exactly what that will entail but it seems like they might be planning to target their program to the needs of individual locations more than they have been doing.
Tricky Dick LOL.

If you google Ardent’s shopper sign in page you can clearly see their past and current clients (before actually logging in). Hardly a secret.

Mods: Is it a violation for me to list the names of the clients who give or require personal training?

It doesn't seem like it.
