predicting which MSCs will fail

It's a bit of irony that over the past year there was dire predictions on this board that HS Brands, Market Force, Bestmark, Advanced Feedback and About Face were all about to go under. Yet they have all made it into 2020 while ServiceCheck and Harland Clarke have not. Which goes to show that none of us have crystal balls.

People panic when payments are late and start saying the compay is folding.

Exactly. Forum speculation doesn't equate to a company's downfall. MSCs lose and gain clients all the time. That's the nature of the business.

Is there more gaining and losing at the start of a new year than the rest of the time? Last January I went through the job boards of all the MSCs I'm signed up with, most of which I've never shopped for, hoping there would be some new shops. A tedious process, little to nothing gained, but I'll do it again this year. You never know.
