Changing DayParts with Maritz' Easy Station Shops

Can anyone tell me if you've found it easy or difficult to get schedulers to shift a shop's daypart (from 6A-3P to 3P-10P or vice-versa) as needed to fit a route? I have a couple of fairly lengthy routes, and I will need to shift a couple of shops from one daypart to another to make the routes work...are they going to work with me?

Last year, I believe that they quit being very flexible about changing the time frames. It probably depends on where you are going to shop and how much bonus you have.
Once the supervisor changed, everything changed.
Well, ok then winking smiley I guess I'm cancelling those two shops, lol. There are 28 shops split between 2 days...if 2 get cancelled I guess it's not the end of the world. And I learn my lesson to look more carefully at the daypart before I include a shop in the bundle!

Just as an FYI you get marks against you for cancelling shops with Maritz.

Also, if you submit an offer, and they counter with $1 (instead of whatever you asked for, maybe $25) and you decline it, that counts against you too.

How do I know? The old supervisor told me before she quit. After 20 years, my number was in the 100's. LOL
Mousegal... that has happened to me before. I mistakenly bundled a shop with a different time frame than the others and I was not able to make it. I had no choice but to call and cancel. However, one time I tried to do that and was told I needed to cancel the entire bundle instead of the one shop. I did not know cancelling counts against you especially if the shop could be scheduled another 2, 3, or 4 weeks later. The people I spoke to didn't say anything to me about that. Oh well, it seems that I am able to get as many Maritz shops as I can handle.
I was not successful in the few times I requested a change over the years. It appears it is a strict requirement.
I have had the opposite experience. It probably depends on the location and closeness to deadline. Shops that are hard to fill will be more likely candidates for daypart changes, especially as the dealine nears.
I've made that day part mistake as well. The way the shops are presented on the website, in a sort of paragraph form, makes it difficult to see the information you actually need to see. It would be easier to read if it were in a row-and-column format. After I am assigned, I copy the whole current shops page to a word doc, then delete all of the busy words I don't need, leaving only the assignment number and address, assuming they're all in the same timeframe.
Well, heard back from the team today - just as nice as they could be. Changed both shops, no problem, as they were part of a 28-shop route. And yes, the majority of these shops are in some normally hard-to-shop areas, so I'm sure it was to their benefit.
Great Mousegal! I hope they are nice to me when I tell them I missed my time frame today! Wow! I think I will ask them to reschedule. I have also done that with them before. I don't want to cancel, but I don't really want to go back. However, I will be near the area again next week, and I rather reschedule than cancel so that I remain in their good graces.
I have found out the Martz will on certain shops and will give extensions, unless it has to be done in a certain time frame (M-F) and now they have quit doing this for I am told too many where being changed. Other Companies that are in my area will sometimes do it IF they are hurting to get them done. (AZ,NM,CO,UT)
are you able to get back in once you've been dinged? I think I was removed from eligibility for missing a couple shops in a row due to illness. I never received an email or call, but i dont have any shops open on the website except acura sales. Any idea?
