Yeah, I don't think they are, either. I think I have seen once or twice some sort of audit for them seeing if they had the correct promotional materials displayed. I think it reimbursed for a drink and didn't pay very well otherwise.
Yep, that was a few years ago (2016). Shoppers were paid a few pennies to confirm the lemonade dispenser.

There was another shop with a different company that offered a $15 flat fee. Shoppers paid cash and had specific ordering requirements,

Years ago, I did inspections off them to check for sanitation and safety issues. Their receipts now offer a “free” sandwich (with beverage purchase) if you review them at their website.
I have only seen them shopped if they are in an airport food court, and they are one of the shops in a circuit.
Field Agent briefly had a shop for a side. That was it. Buy mashed potatoes and eat it there. Weird.
In the 90's, their sister company, the mexican food chain, had a strong MS shopping company going, until crazy Marketing folk (LFO and JH) submarined the program, asking it to balance elephants on needles.
They have photo audits from time to time. Same MSC that does their Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and the rest of the fast food companies owned by that corporation.

Usually, it's when a store has been permanently closed or when they are going to do a major remodel of the store. The store closings are super easy. The remodels not so much.
