Wells Fargo account opening shops / Fee for closing?

One of the mystery shop companies I use is offering account opening shops for Wells Fargo with a bonus. But they do not mention if there are fees associated with closing the account before 6 months. Does anyone have any info on these shops?

I have emailed the scheduler but so far no response.

hmmm. I actually have gotten a fee for both the opening nd the closing of Wells Fargo accounts within the past 18-24 months.
I mean that I have been PAID a fee for closing accounts, NOT that I was charged a fee!!!

Not so black and white then, evidently. I have banked with Wells for many years and have several accounts with them. If that matters, I don’t know. In 2019, on a shop, I opened an account and closed it 40-some days later without incurring a fee.
I"ve churned three WF accounts for the bonus and wasn't charged a fee for closing any of them. I don't have time to read it right now but here is a link to their fee schedule. [www.wellsfargo.com]
Yikes, I misunderstood the question! WF did NOT charge me a fee for closing my accounts. An MSC PAID me a fee for closing each of them!

I apologize if I sounded like I was #*&%$. It certainly wasn't my intention nor was that the tone in my head as I typed my response. I just didn't understand that there was a misunderstanding. sad smiley

I did not feel that you were pissed off to me. Heck, it too ME a while to figure out that there was a misunderstanding. No worries.
