ACE shop legit?

Did anyone else get an invitation to complete an online shop for ACE, with a $10 gift code that they provide, in exchange for a brief survey about the experience? I want to make sure it is legitimate since you also have to put your own debit/credit card on there as well.

Membership is free. Simply choose your username, type in your email address, and choose a password. You immediately get full access to the forum.

I didn't get that and I would not do it. Why would they need your cc or debit card number?

ACE is a reputable company. The email made clear that this was not a mystery shop, and they explained why a credit card is required. I will use a one-time credit card number if I can. I chose to request an assignment.

I did one last night. Super easy and legit.

You are placing an order with an online retailer. They give you a $10 coupon code so your card doesn't actuallly get charged if you stay under that amount. Shipping is free.

That was not explained, and since I did not get the email, I did not know if it was from them or not. I get it now.

I passed as they seem to sell only jewelry and other feminine products.

Thanks to all who responded. I was able to communicate with Julie at ACE and do feel like it is a good opportunity to get at least $10 in free product. I, personally, used it to get two sets of solar lights for my yard.

They had items for outside use. I got two sets of solar lights!

I got a tote bag, as I can never have too many of those. There are kitchen, household and pet items as well.

I couldn't find anything I wanted. So I asked them to "recycle" my "code".

They did so, courteously.

I don't work for discounts on stuff I don't need.

I bought a set of coasters.

Thanks to your post, I also got solar lights. At first I thought they only had jewelry but I needed to search further. I had a hard time with my cc as they kept asking for the billing address which was already entered. PayPal wouldn’t work either. I finally added another card and it went thru. At least I had something to say on their survey!

. Yes this is legit and if you have any issues with your promo code, just email us at shoppers@acemysteryshopping.com as we have found some of the codes did not work. We have been provided with extra promo codes that we test before we replace, to ensure people do not have any more issues.

Julie and I both tested out this market research project before the launch and now we are addicted to the company and need to STOP ordering things! HAHA.

So far, we have had about 350 people successfully complete the project and I think the client wants to have some more done! I think there may be some changes and may have to call their toll free number to place the order directly with a sales rep.

ACE is legit. Good communication and professionalism Julie, and no real major issues apart from one scheduler that likes to get saucy on text messages. I've received payment for shops via digital check.

I don't think I got an email, but I did this shop last month and I loved it. I got several jewelry making kits and I think I spent less than a dollar over the coupon. I loved getting a code and ordering this way. I could have easily gone under budget but I actually wanted what I got. The packaging was unbelievable and the quality was great for prices so cheap.

I did this and it was super easy. For anyone concerned about giving their credit card number, there are suggestions to safe guard that info. I ordered a throw. Not sure if I'll keep it, but if not, it's certainly nice enough to gift or donate.

They have auctions starting at $1 that I'm going to check out. Another company I would not have known about if I weren't a shopper!

I was a little annoyed that the company insisted on caching my charge card information. Not annoyed enough to back out of the shop, though :-) I'm supposed to get my package tomorrow.
