SeeLevel late payment?

Got the e-mail today. PayPal processing problems. Payments delayed.

Some payment will be made this Friday, others will go out next week.

Thoughts, opinions, suggestions, ideas?

And no, I'm not bothered or upset. Mostly curious.

Did you click the link in the email about the SeeLevel Debit Card [www.seelevelhx.com]? "Need more convenience in your shopper payments? Money Network also has a mobile app for quick and easy access.
Would you like to be an early adopter?"

No, I only accept direct deposit, paypal, or zelle (because it is owned by major banks like Chase, Wells Fargo, BoA, etc). I am so tired with all these MS that they connect with a new app, type of payment. Which MS was the one years ago that was trying to convince us that it was more advantageous for us to use that proposed payment, through a Caribbean bank, than paypal? Seelevel uses [www.allpointnetwork.com] Mm, no. Or maybe it uses Money network, of Metabank? It talks about both with no clear link from the start.

I agree with KateH and ceasesmith. Call me old-fashioned, but I am very leery of MSCs who use some sort of "third-party" methods of payment. Direct Deposit or an actual check--direct from the MSC--are the two methods of payment that I most trust. PayPal, of course, is a well-established alternative. MSCs who have contracts with these alternative payment systems may have absolutely nothing to hide, but it seems to my financially-inexperienced mind that if they are willing to go to through the expense of having such systems, there must be something of benefit to them. There are far too many of these "Johnny Come Lately"-type apps that all profess to be all to the shoppers' benefit; I tend to doubt that.
I deactivated myself from one MSC several years ago because their payment method was so incredibly difficult I couldn't get through the process. The MSC said the only way they could or would mail me a check was if it was in final payment for all work performed. "Fine," I said, "mail me a check!" Deactivated. It was some weird 3-party thingy.

I am very (perhaps unnecessarily) leery of "Johnny-come-latelys"; heck, PayPal was around for like 10 years before I signed up with them.
I also do not understand what type of paypal problems they might have. They have been doing the payments monthly for so many years, so let me roll my eyes.
At least they sent an email with an update. Other MSCs (HS Brands, Sutter, Confero, etc.) have had Paypal processing issues and never bothered sending an update email. I had to email someone before getting a response about it.

I will wait for my PayPal deposit. I am not in a hurry. I am busy and unwilling to try a new payment method.

I JOIN THIS FORUM TO FIND OUT ABOUT SEELEVEL.
WELL, LETS BEGIN WITH PAYMENT. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL TUESDAY EVENING STATING THAT THEY WERE HAVING ISSUES WITH PAYPAL AND THEY ARE CURRENTLY RESEARCHING SOME OTHER PAYMENT VEHICLES. NOW, THIS RANDY RECOMMENDED I USE THE MONEY NETWORK CARD. WELL, I HAD BEEN WAITING FOR THIS CARD 30 DAYS. WHEN, I RESPONDED AND STATED THIS, THEN HE RESPONDED WITH A PHONE NUMBER TO CALL THEM. I RESPONDED AND TOLD HIM THAT I WAS NOT GOING TO PLAY THAT GAME. CALL THE MONEY NETWORK AND THEY TELL ME THAT THEY WILL SEND ANOTHER CARD AND I WAIT AN ADDITIONAL 30 DAYS. FURTHERMORE, RETURNING BACK TO PAYPAL. WHAT ISSUE COULD THEY BE EXPERIENCING WITH PAYPAL? PAYPAL IS A MONEY TRANSACTIONAL MACHINE, THUS IF YOU OWE THEM MONEY. THEY WILL DEDUCT THERE MONEY IMMEDIATELY FUNDS ARE DEPOSITED OR THEY WITHDRAW MONEY FROM YOUR ACCOUNT. I AM VERY FAMILIAR WITH PAYPAL. THUS, BOTH OF THERE MECHANISMS OF PAYMENT ARE EXPERIENCING ISSUES. I SMELL A DEAD RAT....
I WENT TO ANOTHER SITE AND CONDUCTED SOME RESEARCH ON THIS COMPANY. MOST OF THE REVIEWS, EQUATED TO STATING THIS COMPANY HAS PAY ISSUES AND DISORGANIZATION.
I IMMEDIATELY CEASE ALL SHOPS THAT I WAS WORKING ON WITH THIS COMPANY.
I WROTE RANDY AND TOLD HIM, ONCE THEY WORKOUT THEIR PAYMENT MECHANISMS AND GET ME PAID, WE CAN DECIDE WHERE THIS BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP TRAVELS.
QUEEN17, please quit yelling, you are hurting my eyes. I've never in the years I've worked with SeeLevel had to chase a payment or other payment issues. That's not to say something isn't wrong. Many of us have been on the short end of a company going under and know it happens. I'm not to concerned at the moment and will give them some time to clear the situation up with Paypal. I remember other companies having issues with Paypal in the past that took time to be sorted out.

Got this from SeeLevel today:

Thank you for your patience. We are working through our issues with PayPal processing and currently meeting with another company to change our payment process for quicker payments (no worries PayPal will still be an option if you prefer it). We currently do have the ability to pay via the Money Network debit card as those funds appear in our account and yours instantly. While we work through our PayPal issues, please feel free to check out the Money Network card below and get paid sooner.

You will receive payments for all shops completed January 1-16th on Friday February 21st.

If you had any shops completed January 17-31st then you will be paid on Tuesday February 25th.
I WRITE IN ALL CAPS AT ALL TIMES. CAPS SHOULD NOT HURT YOU EYES, IT SHOULD PROVIDE AN ENHANCED READING ABILITY.
ALSO WWIN, THEY ARE HAVING ISSUES WITH THE MONEY NETWORK CARD. IT IS FUNNY, THE SCHEDULERS HAVE BEEN PAID THERE SALARY FOR THE MONTH. LETS OBSERVE THE EVENTS THAT TAKE PLACE ON TOMORROW. MAYBE, THIS TOPIC WILL REACH MANAGEMENT AND THEY WILL GET US PAID... .
All caps does not enhance readability, it does just the opposite. So much so that communities across the country are replacing all caps street signs with properly capitalized ones.
THEY CAN DO WHAT THEY WANT AND I WILL DO WHAT I WANT, IN REGARDS TO CAPITALIZATION. IF CAPS BOTHER A READER, JUST SELECT TO NOT READ MY FEEDBACK. JUST THAT SIMPLE, END OF SUBJECT.
LETS MOVE BACK TO SEELEVEL AND FIND OUT IF THEY WILL PAY TODAY(FRIDAY) OR IF THEY WILL BE SENDING ANOTHER DELAYED EMAIL.

FYI It is difficult to read all caps. Also it is considered good internet etiquette to write in regular font size. Plus, when someone uses all caps it is either to stress something or for passive aggression.
Posts in all caps bother a lot of us and it shouldn't be a surprise to read comments to that effect. If it bothers you to read criticisms of using all caps, just elect not to read our comments or don't post in all caps. End of story, just that simple.
I am indeed going to ignore your all-caps posts. All caps posts are not more readable and are considered to be shouting and are very poor etiquette. You will have to find your answer elsewhere.

Queen17, longstanding internet etiquette is that all caps are not used. They are difficult to read, are seen as "yelling" and are generally considered to be the work of a newbie who hasn't learned the ropes. Why you are so defensive about it is beyond me, but I and most others will simply not read posts made in all caps.

I received my Seelevel payment bright and early this morning, via paypal.

I AM ECSTATIC TO REPORT I HAVE RECEIVED THE PAYPAL PAYMENT. I WILL WAIT TO OBSERVE THE EVENTS OF FEBRUARY 26.
@QUEEN17 How old are you? Are you a bratty teenager that's alway angry? There's no need to write in caps.

I hope you don't write in all caps for your mystery shop reports... Editors hate it and clients will not accept a report in all caps... Maybe that's why you don't get paid...
Some readers have ADD. All caps helps them focus where the emphasis is placed. They need the stand-out type to process information. It is not yelling. It replaces bold type or italics. Just read the emphasis and do not interpret it as shouting. (e.g. THIS is emphasis on a WORD. It is NOT shouting).

I have to say in my years advocating for LD students I've never requested or seen accommodations for all caps for ADHD so that is new to me. All caps are considered especially hard on dyslexic individuals as well as an impediment to many text reading softwares (at least in the past I haven't worked with any in awhile) that read capital letters separately. Some research supports all caps being easier for visually impaired but in general we are talking about text that can't be adjusted in size on a screen or more individuals with severe impairment. I admittedly haven't studied the issue in a while so maybe Tinker's work isn't referred to as it used to be.

As I see it: THIS is emphasis on a word. THIS IS SHOUTING.

Yeah, I've been working with ADD and ADHD students for better than 20 years... I've never heard the claim that "all caps" is helpful to them.

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
I have ADD, and, while school administrators made a few exceptions for me when I was in elementary-high school, I was never given any reason to believe writing in all caps was acceptable or was beneficial to me. The workforce in general has never made any exceptions for ADD. People with ADD and other learning disabilities face challenges but those of us with challenges can and should fit into the norm and behave in a way that is socially acceptable.

Nobody is reading them.
They take up too much space. Oh, ignoring people will fix the issue.
