I signed up to do one of their tax shops. It turns out, the tax company is virtual and everything is done digitally. I sent CFA a message via their website asking if this was acceptable. No response from them. Is there another way to contact them?

So I just logged in and looked around for something besides the "Contact us" menu. I did not find anything else. However, there is a faint glimmer of hope (or at least a wild hare). CFA is a Market Force company. Does Market Force still have the telephone option of choosing between colorful departments, one of which is/was CFA? If so, you could try to call for more information.

I received a call from CFA today. The lady said she was with Market Force, but it showed up on my caller ID as CFA. She asked me to do a merch shop and did not reference my inquiry.

The number I used recently for Marketforce does mention the two portals to choose from when I return phone calls. And my understanding is that CFA, which I used to view as the theater side of Marketforce, is expanding into merchandising.
CFA is Market Force. The website was not re-branded to be Market Force Corporate when they took over because of the uniqueness of the work that CFA does. If you call them at their 1-800# (320-1290), they do answer the phone Market Force. I don't have the number off hand, but they can give you the contact information for their Mystery Shopping team if you need it.
I ended up going through a different MSC to get my taxes done. With CFA, I signed up for two tax shops and a merch shop. I had to cancel all due to my questions not being answered.

I have a shop to do on Wednesday. How do I get the guidelines? On the board, it says "paperwork not yet available. "

Sorry, just seeing this now. I assume you are speaking of the online shops and paperwork should now be availablesmiling smiley
Okay, this company is my new BFF. I did an online shop on Wednesday and was paid today.

Maybe it's just a crazy coincidence - but has anyone else had their returns held up since they've been shopping? 3 of 5 years now, I get the 4883c saying I need to call in and confirm my identity. Once you get that, it takes about 8-9 weeks more to process your return. It is what it is...just wondering if anyone else has had this happen regularly.

Great to hear that they pay so quickly! I have a shop with them where I need to purchase something from Amazon and get reimbursed and was wondering how quickly I'd get paid.

Was that the shop you did or the tax one?

I made a mistake on that one. It was the reimbursement that happened in a few days, not the payment.

It was the Amazon (not the client) purchase.

Thanks. It's the reimbursement that I am most concerned about. I have one scheduled for tomorrow.
BTW I just completed that Amazon purchase shop. For anyone who may be considering it, I strongly recommend against it. It took me over an hour to go thru the whole set of instructions, take the required screen shots and answer the questions, all for $10 and reimbursement of a nutritional product I have no use for. I should have rejected the shop, but they only sent instructions on what to order at the very last minute and I felt like I should not reject it at that point. They'd better not give me any trouble with the shop since it seems to be non-refundable. I took slow shipping just in case there is a problem so I have time to cancel.
