KSS email magically gets turned back on each month...WTH?

I wake this morning and check my emails to surprisingly see a bunch of offers from Kern scheduling in my inbox.

It's a surprise because I very specifically switched my account to not receive emails offers a month ago when out of the blue, it magically toggled to the 'ON' position for emails.

I am signed up with over 200 MSC's. I cannot possibly read the volume of emails they all put out for shops. I am perfectly capable of going to the Sassie site and searching out assignments that interest me.

@Lorri Kern KSS why can't your company respect shopper's wishes to not be bombarded by emails they don't want? No other company does this...

Reminds me of a problem I had with them years ago.

I told them on no uncertain terms to delete my profile. They never did, and I couldn't do it myself.

If you are wondering why I did this, I think it was something about SPAM and cheap mystery shops. Like the pay was under $5, and you had to do a 15 page report with photos.

Ahhh, the guy who expects responses in minutes on a Friday night again. That's already way more said than that comment is worth.

If you send me an email, I will make sure they are off again now, and put a note into the system to not turn them back on. I'm not sure why someone would change that. The only time I've ever been instructed to change that is to turn them off if someone needs to be deactivated.

I wonder if it's a Sassie issue. I haven't had a problem with KSS email request getting turned on (I have that one turned on for emails), but I am having the opposite problem with a couple of other MSCs. There are some that I have to check every month because the email request keeps getting turned off and I have to turn them back on. It's happened several times. SeeLevel is the only one that comes to mind right now but there are more than that.
I have had several Sassie sites act weird for me the last two weeks, including KSS.... Randomly logging me out less than ten seconds after I successfully log on; quitting when I try to expand a search area; etc.

Thanks for the response, Lori, and Pete. The first time this happened (12/8/19) I got a notice that an administrator had changed my preferences and I'll send that to you. This time, I simply started getting email offers and then when I checked my account, it was once again set to receive emails. When I toggled it back to "OFF" I got a notice, however.

The first time it happened I chalked it up to a glitch, or a mistake, but at this point it seems specifically intentional. I don't take a lot of shops directly from the KSS site. My interactions with your schedulers are usually from other MSC Sassie sites, which I never have an issue with.
@SteveSoCal I am sorry this happened to you. I have put in a notice with Sassie to investigate the issue. I have also set your account to permanently on Email "OFF" so you aren't bothered again.

When I get to the bottom of the issue, I can assure you that measures will be taken to make sure it doesn't happen again.
