EPMS extra contact info

How does everyone deal with multiple email addresses, phone numbers and names required for Ellis? I have 4 shops but I do not have any other email address and I really do not want to have more. I have an app where I can get different phone numbers. How many variations of my name could there possibly be? lol Any advise? Are the jobs and payments/pay rate worth that trouble?

You can use gmail to create endless email addresses... If you need more phone numbers, Google Voice is an option. I've had countless aliases.

Names: middle names, nicknames of your first or middle name... "Robert Stephen Jones" can go by:
Bob, Rob, Robert, Bobby, Robby, Steve, Stephen, Bert, Sven, etc. If you are female, you have an additional advantage: Your ID can be a name you no longer use. You can be recently divorced or married and now have a different surname.

If i am doing 4 shops in the same area, same week i don't even worry about different names, email addresses, phone numbers. If you were a real person looking for an apartment, in the same timeframe, in the same area you would use just one name, one email address and one phone number. And you really only have to worry about using different names if it's a property management company or ownership and they had database of perspective tenants that was kept.

I agree with your logic. Do the MSCs accept the reports with the same email? (assuming all four are for the same company) I’ve never done an apartment shop so just trying to figure things out.
As a general rule, the MSC is fine with this. However, it becomes an issue if the shopper uses the same alias for shops with the same client which cannot reasonably be the same person. (Seeking low income and high end apartments; looking for a studio and two bedroom apartments, looking for apartments separated by 200 miles, etc.)

I did 3 targeted over 2 days in February. All three were the same management company, within 10 miles of each other. I used the same name, phone, email for all.
Yeah, there were several posts with the same title that duplicated, apparently, and then another post with the same content but a different subject line...
I use the same email and GV number for all shops. I have not been questioned so far.

Ya I do not know why that happened and I could not delete the extras. I tried posting with a different title first and it said something like this is already a post topic so I changed the title. The original one posted anyway and than like ten copies of this posted.
I was told I need a different name, email, and phone number for each apartment site I go to. It seems like too much. To me it would make sense to be looking at several places if I was looking for an apartment.
If you are doing the shops for different management companies, re-using the same contact information won't matter. If you are visiting the same management company several times, it MIGHT be important, depending on whether the client tracks prospective tenants with a centralize computer system or only at the particular apartment community. If your contact information is in the "system," the leasing professional will get an "alert" warning them that they are inputting duplicate phone numbers, etc. Savvy leasing professionals will recognize that this alerts them to a shopper. They'll then play the game and do their best, but not tell their boss that they caught you.

Since same-sex marriage is now accepted either person could change their name, or hyphenate it or not change it at all. So that goes for both sexes now. Wonder if it is Husband and Spouse or Wife and Spouse since they are the same sex.
