RESOLVED: MSC wants me to pay the closing fee for their account opening shop, do you think it's fair?

Jewelry is correct. Grand total was well over $200,000 total for the project.
I returned the items to the client, not to the store. I got my money within 48 hours usually. Once, they paid me before I had written the report. (They had their items back, but no report at that point.)

I got a lot of miles and cash back that year. Plus, they let me keep some of the smaller items (worth around, IDK maybe $5,000? I still have the items. Never sold them or used them.)

Oh, the first time that I did this, I was nervous as heck. After that, I was fine.

That's trusting. I would be nervous to buy and return a 50k item without seeing an immediate credit to my account. The pay for that shop hopefully was astronomical.

It was not refunded. I sent it back to the client (not the store). They wired money into my bank account. So, I got to keep the miles and points, depending on which card I used. Yes, the BSA was very interested! Yes, the pay was excellent as well. I'm a brand expert. I'm fun at parties now too.

Yet, today, I drove thru 6 fast food restaurants. Mindless, but decent pay.

What does "BSA" mean in your context?

Mystery shopping is such an interesting job. One day you are buying $200,000 worth of jewelry..well maybe not all in one day..and the next you are slumming as the drive through queen buying cheap burgers..

Thanks, that makes sense. Couldn't get my head around what the boy scouts would have to do with the jewelry....
