Market Force "The shop records are locked by another Shopper or MFI Employee. Please select another shop."

Whenever i look at one of Market Force's burger chain shops, it tells me "The shop records are locked by another Shopper or MFI Employee. Please select another shop." Looking at other shops they have are fine. I had this the other day, but then it went away. Anyone else seeing this?

I arrive on the website at 12:01 and select the XYZ shop for tomorrow. When I open it to start the questions about my qualifications, the shop is locked. My phone rings and I have a 3 minute chat while I have the shop open but have not finished the qualifications to accept it. You arrive at 12:03 and try to select the shop and it is locked. At 12:06 I decide to not take the shop, even though I have qualified and move on. At 12:07 you try the shop again and it is unlocked again so you can open it. Of course if at 12:06 I take the shop you will no longer see it on the board at 12:07.

In theory, at least, when a scheduler is on the phone talking to me about bonuses for the shop they have it locked, though in reality they rarely seem to because if they can find someone who will take it at list price, that is to their advantage.
I'm getting the same error for a shop 2 weeks from now, so I'm pretty sure it's not the scheduler calling someone to do the shop. And it's very unlikely that someone else is looking at one of the delivery shops, which no one seems to take for one of their places in my area (I am too far to get delivery from there).

The homepage of Marketforce has two new posts that explain this message. One posted just today and another one a month or so ago.

OK.. now i see todays update. Basically once they send a Samantha email offer, they lock other people from taking it. Interesting that they offered the delivery shop to people other than me.

For all Shoppers: Please keep in mind that the shop that was sent to a Shopper under the Premium Fee email will be also posted to the Shopper Website so all other eligible Shoppers will see it as well. If another Shopper tries to select it, they will receive the message "Shop is locked by another Shopper or MFI Employee". That shop will be 'locked' for 22 hours for the Shopper who received the Premium Fee email to be allowed to select it first.

Well, I hope that they took the shop because I had several shops yesterday that I would have liked to do but they were locked for some reason so I guess MF also shoots themselves in the foot.

No, of course they weren't taken. I just put in an offer for the regular shop since it had the "make an offer" flag, but I wasn't able to submit one yesterday.

Update -- I asked for $15, $1 more than I was usually getting, and $5 more than it was posted at, and got immediately approved.
