I emailed the helpdesk with offers for 3 shops. 5 minutes later, 2 of them appeared in my assignment list for less than half of what I offered! Hell no. I cancelled them. I'm not driving 30 miles during a shelter in place order for less than half of what I offered. Has this happened to anyone else?

Why are you doing any shops during a shelter in place order?

Well, if the places we shop are open for business, they are considered essential. So, why would mystery shopping be frowned upon, but just getting food to eat wouldn't? They are open to keep our economy from crashing. I will shop if the places are open to shop, and the fee is right. I need the money.
You are far from alone. Considering what most earn from mystery shopping, you could spend your time finding out how to reduce your monthly payments temporarily. A friend who is usually up on these things said many banks, landlords and credit card companies are willing to suspend payments with no penalty for up to 90 days for those impacted. Utilities, including internet providers, are agreeing no one will be cut off either.@MrsChaney wrote:

Well, if the place is open for business, Marketforce needs it shopped, and they give me the fees I want, Im shopping. I got 3 more shops today. If Im the only shopper working, then more money for me. Really, whats the difference between me shopping and regular customers when it comes to the stay at home order? There is no difference.
For me, the value of human life is higher than $20.@MrsChaney wrote:

Are all you holier-than-thous shopping during this pandemic or am I the only one? I highly doubt that I am. I'd really like to know if the people who are TRYING to shame me are shopping now. So, are you? I can't believe that I am the only one.

I would suggest that you find the news report where they tracked the spring breakers through a cell phone app that they were in Florida and then a week later where they were it boggles the mind to see how far they traveled. It really shows the six degrees of separation.
