WTH Marketforce?

I couldn't really shop as there weren't any shops here. Still haven't found a single one.
Glad you are healthy.

Glad you've stayed healthy, but I'm not sure it was needed to reignite a debate from over a month ago. It's up to each individual to decide where they feel comfortable going and what they're doing, and no one should really be judging them. Obviously the value of human life is immeasurable, but for some people they simply have to shop or they may not be able to survive themselves. I've been in a hotel for the last two months away from home due to covid related work so the only shops I've been able to do are product reimbursements through FA. My state has opened up with numbers rapidly rising, however if the proper precautions are taken (eg an effective mask and eyewear) the risk is very low.
I accepted a DT for a location that does not have DT. I figured it would be an easy $3. I did the “shop” and reported they don’t have a DT. Shop was accepted. Today the same shop is reposted as a DT. I accepted it again. I guess they what to verify that it indeed doesn’t have a DT? The location has limited space so they could never have DT there.
What in the world is DT?

And I heartily dislike calling shoppers who are not shopping "sanctimonious". I merely refuse to drive 270 miles round trip for a $25 shop.

No bonuses here -- I have asked. No PAD, no travel funds, no mileage funds.

Heck, costs more in gas to drive the 270 miles than I would earn.

Furthermore, I am in my 70's and totally disabled.

Sanctimonious? No way.
I am shopping and there are few if any, bonuses being offered where I live. Market Force jobs are slowly becoming available, but I won't drive to do them for a $4.5 - $7.00 fee.

I need the shops your not doing because you value human life so much.

You call other shoppers sanctimonious while you sit up there on your high horse. Pot, meet kettle.

A little nonsense now and then, is relished by the wisest men.

Well, if the place is open for business, Marketforce needs it shopped, and they give me the fees I want, Im shopping. I got 3 more shops today. If Im the only shopper working, then more money for me. Really, whats the difference between me shopping and regular customers when it comes to the stay at home order? There is no difference.

Are you still falsifying reports? (from your post last year)

Unfortunately, I've found with MF if you report to many problems at one specific place repeatedly they don't like it. They prefer the glowing reviews. I will report problems if they are only minor. Anything major, I don't. I do this for the money, not for fun. I know its dishonest and not the reason the client is paying for this, but if I'm completely honest about a place with a failed shop, the consequence usually comes down on me, not the place I shopped. It's not right and it's not fair. It is unusual for places to completely fail a shop, so I rarely have to be dishonest, but it happens.

Still making lots of money falsifying reports. Congrats to you.

Well, here I am a couple of months later. I have not gotten the virus and the last 2 months were the best months for shopping Ive ever had. Ive made enough money to almost replace my full time job because of the sanctimonious shoppers who have not shopped. The bonuses have been huge. Yall stay home. Ive still got until August until school starts and Im back to work. I need the shops your not doing because you value human life so much.

Really classy.
How nice that you have not acquired the covid-19 and have earned a great deal of money in the last two months. I was wondering if you meant to say 'law-abiding' and 'medically compliant' in addition to 'sanctimonious.' Some shoppers are subject to legal restrictions; others have medical conditions which make it wise to stay at home.

I wanted to make sure I interpreted this correctly. Are you a parent, teacher or both?
OMG, I am just reading this thread now. In my state, which some of you posters live in, the virus lives on, and on , and on and is now climbing. A good part of the reason in my mind is that my interpretation of the "rules" regarding work has always been up to the person and the county. Businesses were supposed to close but those not open to the public still were open in many cases. The list of "essential" services went on and on. The first actual "rule" that I saw statewide was the recent you must wear a mask in public. There was never an order to stay home, as far as I can tell anyone could go to work as long as there business was open. Lots of people in my city were shopping (not mystery shopping but actually going to visit open stores) daily, playing contact sports in officially closed parks and walking together in groups without masks. . This was discouraged but never enforced in any way.
If we had had stricter rules like other countries that have tamped down the virus we would not be in a never ending first peak or near peak of the virus. I do not condone anyone doing a mystery shop if they can get it but our country has left it all up to the individual and there are many individuals out there that consider themselves a country unto themselves with little regard for others.

I don't think that your school is starting in August now.

Yes, I still value human life over $20.
I submitted an offer to MFI. Then the fee on all the shops went up $5 more than I had offered. I made another offer for $5 over the new fee and it was accepted.

I dont know why you think I live in or near Houston, but I dont. I work for a private school and school started 8/5. If its ok for me to be in a school with 800 other people everyday, my mystery shopping is ok too.

Does anyone know WHY MF has STOPPED posting WHEN payments are going out??? This seems to have started right around the time that Covid 19 hit. I haven't done any work for them since March, but did do several shops in July, which should be paid anytime now in August. The shops are no longer listed in My Shops, so they should be set up for payment. But my Payment History only goes back to the March shops I did. Nothing is showing yet for the July shops I did. For those of you who have shopped during April, May & June, did payment still come on time even though no mention of it is on their notifications page? TIA!!
I have been paid through direct deposit between the 17th and 20th January-July of this year. I'm expecting payment by Wednesday or Thursday the 19th-20th this month.
