Does anyone expect HS Brands to pay up (and on time?)

Getting paid at the end of June for a March 5 oil change shop is, well, somewhat "late". (smirk)

According to HSB website, you should be paid June 15 for your oil change shop completed March 5 (75 days after end of month [March 31] in which shop was submitted). I agree that is an unreasonably long time to wait for payment, but it is their stated policy.
I got paid the other day for a shop done in February. Completely forgot about it with all that is going on.

Kim
I received payment for one of two jobs done in Feb. The unpaid job was near the end of Feb So waiting to see if I get paid for that one by the 15th of this month, which is their stated policy.
I have two shops that I did in February and haven’t been paid for either. The total they owe me for the two is $479.95. I’ve emailed them numerous times but never get any response so that’s why I’m concerned. $439.95 of that is what I was charged to have my tax return done so that’s money that was taken away from my refund.
I was paid 05/11 for two shops I completed before 02/15, but one on 02 /16 was not paid. My guess is the 15th was the cutoff date and I will receive my money either by the 31st of May or the 15th of June.
Oh ok. The shops I did were on 2/16 and 2/29 so maybe it’ll be the end of the month before I’m paid.
Today marks 75 days past the end of February, and HS Brands has not remitted payment for all February shops. They are once again late and out of compliance with their payment terms.
It’s 90 days for me. Haven’t received payment and they won’t respond to emails.
Well I am due $29 total from 2 shops done late Feb. I am hoping in the next few days to be paid could always use the money. Luckily the only thin involved for the shops was my time. One was done from home and the other a stop on my way back home from other shops. Here's hoping we all get paid on time according to their pay policy.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
HS Brands will pay, but they just pay late. I don't work with them as much because it takes so long but they do pay. Some payments came 108 days and 120 days later. At least they have good assignments.
I just sent an email to Jenna at HS. She helped me before. I got this auto response. Ouch!

“Thank you for your email. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it became necessary for HS Brands to temporarily reduce its workforce. As a result of this unfortunate event, my position was no longer sustainable and for the time being, has been eliminated.

Your continued support of HS Brands is appreciated. If you have any further questions you may email admin@hsbrands.com.“

Many years ago, a poster on the Volition forum stated she did not care how much she was paid as long as it was quick. As for me, I always look at the entire picture before deciding if the work is acceptable. For the final shop for which I have not been paid by Service Sleuth, the reimbursement for a delicious dinner was $25, no guest requirement, a 10 day visit window with a three hour spread, an easy report and a fee of $15. Would a pay in two weeks have been nice? Of course, but I knew that was not a condition of the job; that IS the key. If, however, your preference would have been a $15 meal, required guest, a tight window, a moderate to difficult report and a $5 fee, but with a 30 day payout, I offer the old adage--to each his/her own.
If that does not work, you might try tom.mills@hsbrands.com.

The expectation is that a company will abide by its stated payment terms, whatever those happen to be. This one consistently does not. There simply is no excuse for that, the lack of responsiveness, and the failure to communicate with shoppers.

Generally I agree with you. However my issue is with MSC’s that do not follow their own payment terms. I am willing to wait for pay but dislike having to chase it down when it is not received as per their stated policy. GAPbuster is another MSC that comes to mind as always being late with their payments. If we don’t follow up with these late paying MSC’s will they eventually pay us?
MSF shares--The expectation is that a company will abide by its stated payment terms, whatever those happen to be.

Bob agrees--I have nothing to add.

MSF continues, concerning SS--This one consistently does not.

Bob replies--I have no recollection in my relationship with SS, which spans almost 1 1/2 decades. that I received a tardy payment.

MSF concludes--There simply is no excuse for that, the lack of responsiveness, and the failure to communicate with shoppers.

Bob agrees and adds--Just as with never having received a late payment, I do not recall ever contacting SS, either by mail or phone.
I have to constantly email schedulers, and Harass them tell them they have serious money problems. and they are breaking the terms and conditions of there agreement. They paid. in the end I am making less than federal minimum wage. Time to hoe potatoes in Nepal.
My final pre-Corona payment from Service Sleuth, for an eatery completed 02/16, arrived today 05/20. For the last cycle of these casual sports bars, I only selected three jobs. All were quite delicious, so for the next batch I shall shoot for six shops.
I'm waiting for payment for 3 shops i did in the second half of February. None of them were reimbursement so at least I'm not out of pocket, but one was for $100 so I would like to get paid.
Per there own paypolicy all shops done and completed in Feb or earlier should have been paid by now. Mine from Feb 22nd and 26th have not yet been paid. I do feel they will get paid soon but will contact them alas I should not have to.

I have sent numerous emails. I even sent an email to the scheduler and no one is responding. I still haven’t been paid for shops that were done on 2/16 and 2/29. Well beyond 75 days and past 90 days. The least they could do is respond and let everyone know what’s going on.
This is the response I got from a scheduler on May 18th. Nothing since:

“Thank you your email. I don't have access to the payments system but will forward your inquiry. I know they're pretty backed up on payment inquiries due to COVID-19 and a reduced workforce, but you should be hearing from someone shortly. I apologize for the delay. Emails are being answered in the order they are received.“

I tried that a few days ago. I just got an email from Tom responding to my email and he asked if I had gotten paid yet. I told him, no and he answered right away saying he would take care of it.

And have you been paid since then?

“Just” as in minutes before I posted above. So, no I have not been paid yet but would expect something in a day or so based on Tom’s response
I am in the same boat. Did a shop February 27. Tomorrow is May 27 and no payment. I've tried contacting the scheduler through both the portal and directly by email. No one is getting back to me. Tonight I want to the actual company website and submitted a contact request. We'll see what happens.
It seems like tom.mills@hsbrands.com is the person to contact. I haven't tried yet, was giving them the benefit of the doubt.
