Seelevel lending project

Does anyone have experience with Seelevel's project where you check several lenders and submit screen shots and rate information for each? These are not hard credit pull applications, just rate checking. I'd like to know how involved it is and whether it is worth the $75 fee.

Experience, yes, but with the other MSC. I'm surprised to see these at SeeLevel. I think they're worth it, but try one and see.

Edited to add: Depending on how many lenders they want you to shop for $75.

I love the other MSC and do those as often as I can. I got an email for a low credit score shop and didn't qualify. I hope they have shops for varying scores, I would give it a try.
This one was for credit scores over 720. I have done similarly described shops for another company, and they were easy and definitely worth it. I'm thinking I dodged a bullet. First I had inquired about these shops several.weeks ago, and then today they showed up in my inbox. I won't go into the details, but I worked at it for over an hour until I realized it would require several more hours to complete. I politely explained why I wouldn't be completing them and requested them to be unassigned, which was done promptly. When I checked my shopper score, sure enough, they gave me a 1 for that. This is only the second time I've ever "flaked," and both times it was because of insufficient information about the difficulty and scope of the work. It's been a few years since I've worked with them, but I may just be completely done with them now. Not sure why they penalized me for not being willing to do unexpected hours and hours of work for that fee.

I suspect I'm not the first person to request unassignment. This whole 3-part process was due the following day, and the "don't shop before" date was several days ago. I suspect either these just sat on the job board for a while or others have also declined doing them
Threemom, thank you for that follow-up! It sounds like a project I did a year or two ago for a different MSC but the pay was more than 3x this one. Definitely worth it at the previous fee and the MSC was one of the easiest to work with, lots of support! Your info gives us much to consider when deciding whether to accept these shops. I am sorry you had to get a 1-score and lose an hour of time for it though.
I got a new email on these today. If I read it right, each of the 3 shops involves multiple lenders. No telling how many there are in total. They don't show on the board anyway, unless there's some trick to making online shops appear. All I get is shops in the set radius.
It is misleading on the amount of work required. Yes, the project is assigned as three shops. Each of those shops has three credit agencies. For each lender, you inquire about two different loan amounts. For EVERY OFFER you document and enter the loan details. For example, I got 10 offers for the low amount and 2 for the high... From the FIRST lender in the FIRST shop. Must complete all parts of all three to receive $75. Good luck to whoever does this. And if they accept it and see all the details and ask for it too be unassigned, they will do it give you a score of 1.
