This one was for credit scores over 720. I have done similarly described shops for another company, and they were easy and definitely worth it. I'm thinking I dodged a bullet. First I had inquired about these shops several.weeks ago, and then today they showed up in my inbox. I won't go into the details, but I worked at it for over an hour until I realized it would require several more hours to complete. I politely explained why I wouldn't be completing them and requested them to be unassigned, which was done promptly. When I checked my shopper score, sure enough, they gave me a 1 for that. This is only the second time I've ever "flaked," and both times it was because of insufficient information about the difficulty and scope of the work. It's been a few years since I've worked with them, but I may just be completely done with them now. Not sure why they penalized me for not being willing to do unexpected hours and hours of work for that fee.
I suspect I'm not the first person to request unassignment. This whole 3-part process was due the following day, and the "don't shop before" date was several days ago. I suspect either these just sat on the job board for a while or others have also declined doing them
