Similar to Field Agent?

I have the Field Agent app and use it regularly for the product reimbursement. Just wondered if anyone knew of any others that were similar? Or other ways of getting products by reviewing them?

Thanks!

Hi katie! I love the FA Try & Buy shops. I can't think of any other MSCs that do shops like this.

Which ones have you done for FA? I did the $12 deodorant, the body wash, the chicken sandwich, the fabric softener and dryer sheets, and that awful diet ice cream. I tried to do the laundry detergent over the weekend, but when I accepted, they were unavailable.

I did a couple of deodorant & body washes (I hate paying full price for those so very useful!). Also did that diet ice cream and it's still sitting in my freezer barely touched. Yuck! Over the weekend I got a bunch - some dishwasher gel, detergent, dryer sheets etc. But they were difficult to get, many of them are unavailable after accepting or items totally sold out!
I volunteer at a food bank once a month. One of the stores donated a bunch of that brand of ice cream.

I did a positive review for the body wash. The review was published with my first name published. My reviews are no longer positive.

Oh, katie, Certified Field Agent occasionally has shops where you buy items and write reviews. You have to compare similar items and take screenshots.

ETA: I got nutritional supplements this way.

That ice cream is ok but it needs to sit for a while before eating. Even a few seconds in the microwave.
For Field Agent, is the listed "Payment" in addition to reimbursement of the product?

You could also use PinchMe, but that's usually for samples, not full-size products.

Yes the payment is separate. Usually it's $3-5 plus reimbursement. Sometimes they give you a flat fee instead of the amount you paid. I'm drowning in laundry items after this past week! smiling smiley
Thanks! I just did my first one today, and it was fun and easy. It was for a 12-pack of hard cider.
You use those apps to try products and review them? That's what OP is looking for, not app shops.

Great! They've had a lot of alcohol ones the last few weeks. My family has a nice stock of beer for when guests come over now!
Have you guys tried the "Scavenger Hunt" jobs on Field Agent? Any success stories, or tips?

I've gone hunting once or twice when I've been in the store anyway. Never found anything so I don't bother now! They also had some well paid jobs today to take pictures of peoples' houses. I'm not in the best area right now so didn't fancy doing that.
Don't waste your time. The products you are looking for have been discontinued or are seasonal so finding one is pretty rare. I hide them as soon as they pop up.

I have an embarrassing amount of IPA, hard seltzer, Stella, and Michelob in my fridge and pantry. LOL

I hide the Scavenger Hunt jobs as well. I've never found anything so I no longer even try.
How do you hide sections?

Sadly, the "Buy & Try" FA shops in my area tend to be either a) with a members-only store where I'm not a member or b) with America's largest retailer and since I'm in a high-population area, this retailer's stores are MOBBED at all times. Not comfortable being in this teeming store during Covid era. But if I happen to be in the area doing other shops I will scoot behind the store and shoot some recycling bales. $3 for 2 minutes' work? Gimme a hell yeah.
I swipe the job to the left and a red button pops up with "Hide." I also hide the scavenger hunt jobs immediately.

You can get trial memberships at the club stores.

Thanks Honny. Do you know how long these trial memberships are good for? I assume they're free?
They are good for 90 days and free-ish. There is no fee for the 90 day membership but there is a 15% upcharge.

Bare International has a shop for a trial membership.

You can get enough money from a typical shop for inquiring about a membership to fund your first few years of membership. If you shop enough, you can earn enough points to sustain your costs.

But back to your regularly scheduled thread now... smiling smiley

I'm now encountering an assignment where you can order an item online (and the reimbursement amount functionally covers shipping). Do you all usually try to buy enough personal items to get free shipping, or wait for another assignment for the same retailer...?
I am not using Field Agent so I do not know which membership store they have jobs at but for Costco if you know anyone who is a member they can purchase a gift card for you and you can use that to enter and purchase in the store. Now, time to sign up for my own field agent acct, I love free or just a little work to get it stuff.
Is this the one on the field agent app? If yes, I just ignore those jobs since it's hard to pair it with another. If you're ordering from that big giant store anyway, then go ahead and do the shop.
