I have free memberships for both club stores in my area. I regularly check slickdeals dot com for bargains. Both clubs were listed with free gift cards equal to the membership price,
Speaking of Field Agent, those wonderful folks are offering a chance to order pecans online, if you'll write a review, and they'll pay you $4 reimbursement and a total of $.3.50 for your shopping/reviewing efforts (you must enter an online review of the product). Oh, the product costs $8.31 at the retailer's website (including shipping, which is not reimbursed). Who doesn't want to work for minus 81 cents? I mean, PECANS, people!!! *rolleyes*

The payment here is $0.50. They still flew off the boards.

Right but they add in the pre-instructions you'll get an additional "bounty" of $3.00 upon successful completion. So I figured $3.50 plus the $4 reimburse for $7.50. On an $8.31 expense.

There's been one here and it's been sitting on the board for a week or so.

No matter. FA stuck it to me on a "buy-n-try" about a month ago so thinking of deactivating anyway.

They said you must buy individually wrapped beef jerky bars in 2 of 3 available flavors, unless only 1 is available; only 1 was available (I spent several minutes looking, I looked HARD); then they dinged me because the other flavors were available in multi-piece pouches. Dirty pool to save themselves 3 bucks.

The instructions were clear that you were to look for the individually wrapped bars.

Oh, that sucks.

FA has lost it: 70 photos for $4.

Nope!

HonnyBrown, are you talking about the fabric care audit? My audit today did not come anywhere near that many pictures taken and only took about 10 minutes. The only time consuming variable is asking a store employee if they have more stock in back. If you are going by the store anyway, you would have no problem picking up a quick $4.

I saw that! No way!! Someone picked them up, though, because they're gone in my area.
I was beginning to wonder if it was just me or if FA was dropping its prices to ridiculously low levels. I guess they have a large enough base now so they can be stingy?

Sorry that happened to you @KokoBWare. I considered doing that shop awhile ago because the fee went up. I'm glad I heard your story as a warning.

Weeks ago I bought a 15 pack of beer and it was fully reimbursed, now they are offering half reimbursements. And also some ridiculously low price to go into a mobile store and ask about phones. I think my area is $3.60. (I'm pretty sure we can mention fees here? I've seen other posts do it. I didn't mention the client so I think I'm okay.)
Yes, that's it. Did the scanner work?

I have a competitor for the recycling bale audits. I choose them in blocks, depending on where my shops are. Competitor grabs the ones in a close radius. I had to set my alarm to get one. When curiousity made me check later, all the ones in a close radius were gone.

$4 is not worth it.
Basically, keeping the poor, poor. Sad.
I did a few of their beauty / soap items earlier in the year. I would not go 10 feet out of my way to do their "jobs".
SCM, these are shops that you complete as a double dip or when driving by the to a different shop.

I'm aware of how it works. I still believe that $4 shops, no matter how fast, are a waste of time. I see people doing similar shops for CI, and a just hang my head. It's sad.
It works for some people and not for others. It's obviously working for Competitor.

The Recycling Bale Audits are being put on hold for a while. Sunday is the last batch. Shame, I was hoping to cross paths with Competitor.

Anyone know if I can order extra items to get the free shipping or can the receipt only state the one item. I know they wont reimburse for the other item, but the shipping kills half this stuff, I actually lose money. Saw one where I got $9 reimbursement and $3 pay for a $10 chocolate syrup. But with shipping it ends up being $15 so I lose money. If I could order multiple items on the receipt and get free shipping then its worth it.
Don’t forget when using Field agent or similar apps for buy and try’s to also check rebate apps like Ibotta. It’s sometimes possible to double dip.
I double dipped a Try & Buy when I did an eCommerce shop. I had no issues.

The price checks? They aren't similar to what FA offers.

No, I was thinking of the app shops and the brochures that Customer Impact has. Minimum wage is $13 an hour in CA. That's not a living wage. These don't even come close to that.
what would you consider a good amount for the doctor's brochures shops?

With no commute, if I had nothing to do, and I wasn't worried about getting sick or getting anyone else sick, probably $30-$40 each if I was going to do more than 5. I would not "learn" that project for less than that, They're not paying for your mileage.
Yesterday, I did the last of the recycling bales and a 2 try and buy shops at one of the locations. That stocked me up on water, so I didn't need to go to the grocery store.
