Similar to Field Agent?

Can someone explain to me what field agent means like payment? I am a bit confused because for example there is a buy and try in my area for a chocolate drink mix which I want to buy. The payment says $5, but the drink mix is $6.5. So does this mean I get reimbursement plus $5 or that I only get $5 and pay out of pocket. If its the latter, it seems like none of these are worth doing because the compensation doesn't even cover the cost of the item.

Are you talking about a low-carb or Keto ice cream?
The job description should tell you if the product is reimbursed. It usually is. However for alcohol products it is a partial reimbursement as they cannot be providing free alcohol products due to local laws. If it is a product that is shipped they normally don’t pay the shipping costs. However you can add other items (at your cost) if they gives you free shipping from the company.

I just checked and see that some buy and tries don’t show a reimbursement. In that case the fee is all you get. So if the product costs more than the fee it is just like using a coupon and I wouldn’t do it.

Let me correct myself. I posted this in the FB Field Agent private group and folks told me that jobs like this pay the fee plus full reimbursement. If the job description says “free” they do pay for the reimbursement. Sometimes they will say reimbursement up to a certain amount and in that case, that’s all you will receive.

My last purchase was Keto but in both types it tastes better after sitting out a while

That is because it is not actual ice cream. The inside label instructs users to let it sit out for 15 minutes.

It works for some people and not for others. It's obviously working for Competitor.

What is "Competitor?" An app? I don't see it in the store.
Competitor was someone in my area who took the shops that I liked to do in my area.

Now I know why folks in the forum are tight lipped about their MSPs.
