Wow...a new low...MF Auto Service shop listed with ZERO fee ZERO reimbursement

I was just scrolling through the MF job board and almost couldn't believe my eyes when I saw 2 shops listed as "Auto Service", with $0 fee and $0 reimbursement. I've never done an auto service shop before, so I don't know who the client is. And although I have no intention to sign up for these jobs, I just had to see what they entail. The brief description on the job page says: "This shop evaluates an auto body repair and painting location. Please read your paperwork thoroughly to become familiar with the guidelines."

I'm almost wondering if this a mistake on their end...I mean, who in their right minds would work for absolutely nothing? No job fee and no reimbursement, which might have made it "worth it" for some people who needed the service anyways. Even the phone shops I did for MF before covid-19 paid $3.

Does anyone else see these jobs listed for their areas?

No fee and no reimbursement? Why would someone take that?

The majority of the shops on the board in my area are $0 fee.

I saw this shop in Wisconsin where my brother lives. I think @sstsau is right, it must be a mistake.

But just for fun... read pages of guidelines, drive to location to perform shop, make required observations and maybe get photos, do your report and provide narrative... then since there is no fee and no reimbursement, make your check payable to Market Force and mail to...
I saw these last year. They had a fee (I dont remember how muc), but it was an inquiry, if I recall coreectly. I think it to ask about getting your car painted. Nothing to buy, so obviously no reimbursement.
If it's the one I'm thinking of, yes, car was evaluated for painting an area that had cracked/rusted out. I did it for a $9 fee last year, because hubby & I just happened to be curious as to what the cost would be anyway to get this done, so I got paid to find out. That's awful to list it at no fee now. Hopefully it is a mistake, time will tell.
That place is so sleezy. I did it four or five years ago to see what they would charge to fix a dent in a luxury sedan. $1500. Not the type of place I'd take my car anyway. I had a mobile guy come to the house, and he fixed it for $200.

I’m sure they will update the database with some kind of fee and / or reimbursement. I guess they have just dumped the assignments on the database in a provisional form.
This morning I see no Shopping fee on all their fast food shops for July, even the one that was paying $5. No fee on retail shops.
Yeah I noticed last week a lot of their shops had $0 fee. I had already scheduled a couple of drive thru dining for the end of the month with a small (read: typical) job fee and a couple days later the same jobs are on their reimburse later. I figured they were going to cancel mine, they haven't yet and I'm not about to reschedule in case that happens.
But yeah now the board is all no fees....retail, fast food, gas station...all.
I get that retailers are struggling and may be looking to cut back right now, so MF is doing all it can to keep clients through the turn, but you gotta give us some incentive. Otherwise nothing gets done.
if you click on such shop you can see the $8 fee

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009
The auto service shops now list a $8 fee in my area, so I guess it was a mistake/oversight on their part (or at least I'm hoping they weren't expecting any shoppers to work for free). There are now numerous gas station audits listed with a fee and reimbursement, but no one seems to be accepting them at base price. The food and retail shops that used to have fees (but now only have reimbursement) are not being readily accepted in my area...but I'm guessing once they are "bonused" to their original fee prices they will be taken quickly. It definitely seems like this no initial fee "protocol" will be the new normal for many of their shops.
