Lagacy Maritz/Ipsos

Does anyone know who I would contact about being restricted from shops? My scheduler cannot tell me.

The only e-mail I've seen that works is Mystery.Shopping@Ipsos.com. I recommend using a brief but descriptive subject line that might grab someone's attention, then fully state what you are asking for in the body of the email. This is what I did when I needed to find out why a shop had been put on hold and not paid and I got an immediately response and fix. Good luck.

I have been there on the bank shops. In my case it was that I was recognized as a Mystery shopper. Fast food chain did the same for another MSC because they saw me give the food away. Emailing them as Alan mention might work but most time once you are burned forget it for 5 years then MAYBE
I was restricted on the bank shops a couple of years ago after a miscommunication. By the time I realized it, I wasn't really shopping, so I didn't pursue it. When I restarted shopping again this month, I wrote up a long email to try to remedy the situation. Before I sent it, I figured that I should just apply for a shop since it is on Ipsos. Lo and behold, I was assigned and never had to send the email.

YMMV: I am unsure whether this is because the ban didn't pass over to Ipsos or because it was an end of the month shop they needed to get filled.
I sent several emails in September to the above listed address. Eventually I was told by a scheduler that I was on hold for an incomplete shop. (A shop I had never heard of or completed.) She gave me a phone number 1-212-265-3200. It worked. They found my emails in the spam folder.
I don't know how it would work these days but it took me over a month and many calls and emails to clear up a miscommunication. My KSS scheduler was no help in this instance. She told me Maritz banned me from the program and could not tell me why. I called and spoke to a Maritz scheduler I have worked with before and she said I was not banned and she could not see any note restricting me from the program. Then, when I spoke to another Maritz representative, she told me I was banned but could not tell me why. Finally, I communicated with a third Maritz representative and she claimed I had said I never wanted to shop that program. I actually never said that. The last time a Maritz (not KSS) scheduler asked me to do one of those shops, I said I did not want to do those shops at that time. It appeared she banned me and noted that I said I did not ever want to do those shops.

The ban was removed. I later did some of those shops and was sorry I did because they turned out to be a big mess. I am still trying to clear up bills I am getting on a competitor shop from that program months after the shop.
Being banned from two different mystery shop companies seems like a lot to me. Hopefully you will review the reasons and be more careful in the future about doing things that might out you. Take these bannings as a learning experience. We all make errors in judgement some time or other. Being recognized may have been unavoidable
