Ath Power

These people are causing me to tear my hair out! They will only accept PDFs and not jpgs and all photos need to be only one document. No problem, I can do that. BUT, personal information has to be edited out first! I don't have the editing part of Adobe. I can use Paint to edit jpgs and then turn them into PDFs but then it's multiple PDFs and they will only accept ONE. It's driving me nuts and the editor just ignores my emails and keeps cutting and pasting that they won't accept what I've submitted.

Is there anyone who has a workaround??

Must be some special client requirement. I have worked for them for many years nd always submit jpg.

I use this website to merge multiple .jpg files into one. It can do it either vertically or horIzontally. You can output the results and then convert it to a .pdf file.

You can then use the Adobe website to convert them to.pdf.

I do this for the ATH bank shops I do.

ah you must’ve one of those open a credit card jobs. i’ve done that with them and it was the same deal with the pdf’s and one document. mostly i just did teller shops with ath and that was always easy photo wise, just one jpeg file. think they lost the client though.

I quit shopping for them becasue of several reasons, and this is one of them. I am fluent in Spanish and loved their bank shops for fluent Spanish speakers....BUT!...they started requiring a photo of my ID with every shop...the bank I was doing shops for is bound by federal law to protect identity (although, that and a quarter will get you a ride on the bus), so I could feel somewhat secure providing ID for the account opening, but Ath is not bound by federal law.....they can be hacked, just like several other MSCs, and then, poof!, your identity is stolen, along with your PHOTO ID (DL, Passport, etc.). And to have to submit this with every shop? That's asking for trouble.

I like Ath, but the nearest shops are far from home. I have to have a good reason for being there or a busy shop day in addition to their work. Most recently, I was promised a bonus if [some activity happened]. I did just that, and no bonus appeared. I was not working with the person I used to work with, so there might have been something different in their work style. ?

I use white adhesive labels to cover up personal info, as per the shop instructions. This way, if I make a boo boo, I peel off the while label and start from scratch.
I use Adobe Professional to scan and combine into one pdf. document.

Download a shareware program called GIMP. It's a free alternative to Photoshop.

I use the snipping tool native to Windows and then hit print and there's an option for save as PDF. You can edit through the snipping tool and then the print option gives you the PDF function without having to download any other software. You can also print from any other windows based or Internet site using the print and instead of choosing a printer use the Microsoft PDF option.
